Oh I looks like it was after the villa game. Adkins done a magnificent job at saints and has even surpassed NCs expectations this season making it hard to dismiss him. It was always on the cards. We now have a potential high profile manager that could attract high profile players. I for one will show my appreciation for all the hard work Nigel has done for us at the start of the game on Monday night, then get behind the team. There's a battle on to avoid relegation. I hope NCs vision comes to fruition. Onwards and upwards.

I think you will find I suggested that Adkins could be sacked before the mail story broke out ! Obviously because I still wet the bed my mum wouldn't pay my 5 pound subscription so my views don't count. I must be a skate because I don't gaze at rainbows but I can assure you I'm a saints fan and I wanted to discuss the possibility of RdM taking over. Although I'm not a multiple poster I would like to take this opportunity to wish Adkins all the best. He has brought us a long way in a short time and I am eternally grateful he has led us to the promised land. For anything to evolve things must change. I don't know if the rumour I heard tonight is true but if this is the case then thanks Nigel you've done a terrific job so far. I hope the change will make Southampton FC a club that will continue to evolve and reach the destination that NC has visualised.

Just wondering if Nigel is getting sacked before the villa game or after. With all the links to Serie A players there is only one manager I want to see and that is Di Matteo. On current form we are nowhere near good enough to survive this season. Act now and there is a good chance of staying up.
