While I strongly believe we have great reason to be cheerful about our longer term prospects, it is a reality that the squad that got us relegated is, apart from one or two, utterly useless. Most of the "promising" youngsters are not ready. Most of the older players are not good enough. At the Northampton match, our delicate defence was exposed several times, but fortunately for us their strikers were unable to hit the target. I don't think we are a couple of players short, its more severe than that.
