Do a few comments on a message board/newspaper comments really have any bearing on how clubs are thought of? How many people post on here often? A hundred? Say even a few hundred. Hardly reflects the thoughts of 20,000 does it? I think the vast majority of people realise the internet is full of nutters and WUM, and is taken with a large pinch of salt.

I'd love Shearer as boss. I think he'd do a similar job Keane did when he took over at Sunderland. Lambert, Barnard and all the strikers would learn heaps off him. He'd attract players and the feel good factor would be fantastic. St Mary's would be buzzing. Just my own feeling that this would be a great time for both Shearer and Saints.

Totally agree. Surely it would make much more sense charging say £8 an adult ticket and a deal with kids. The money raised in the megastore and on food and drink would surely add up to more than 8,000 paying 12 quid. We would've easily got 12/14,000 in my opinion, if not more
