  1. It will be a good afternoon viewing. maybe it will suit Wednesday knowing them have to win to stay up. Palace won't know how to approach it, and playing for a draw can be dodgy.
  2. I don't think it will be live. I think they're showing the Blackpool vs Bristol city match
  3. That's not disputed, but there's no doubt the police make a meal out of most football matches, and the heavy handed stewarding you see at some games is a joke.
  4. Indeed, and woolston ferry was backed in to 7/2 from 6's. And ironically I've somehow managed to put the thumbs down icon up the top. How the fook do i get rid of that?
  5. I'm on about football fans in general, "shirters" as some call it, not the hoolies. I understand your points, but like I said, the high majority of football fans are treated like scum just because they are football fans. What's the difference between the sports if the fans are doing the same thing, ie drinking, singing and generally being a p*ss head. Like I say I know where you're coming from but it basically is double standards.
  6. Great times ahead indeed. Our support has been fantastic. Onwards and upwards
  7. I get annoyed when I hear "football should take a look at how it's done in Rugby" ******. They seem to forget the stampings, eye gouging, fake blood scandal etc etc. I know that's the playing side of things but the Rugby fans are no different to the high majority of football fans. I remember Reading away last season, and England were playing and Reading was packed before/after the game with Rugby fans. They were drunk, loud, singing songs the same as football fans would behave. But because they're "rugger" fans it's ok. As for the fans mixing during the game, i'd fookin hate that to happen in football, and thankfully it never will.
  8. Sorry, I posted before reading this.
  9. not a tip but woolston ferry is running at Wolverhampton at 3.30
  10. It doesn't matter if their club dies, we have bournemouth now as our rivals
  11. Where is Peter Storrie on the list?
  12. I think there will be more on the OS as we announce season ticket details. Lambert staying and looking forward to the rest of his career with saints as the first story, then the season ticket details = feel good factor for our crack at winning the league next season.
  13. Leeds and Charlton
  14. I'm not sure the fuss in that que sera sera song. Fair play to them. Howe has done a fantastic job and it wasn't that long ago we were premiership and they were miles away from us. Of course they still are in the grand scheme of things, but for them to be in the same league as us is flattering to them and I didn't take that chant as one of a bitter rivalry, it seemed one of pride in their team getting promoted against all the odds. As far as their fans that call us scummers, you're always going to have the wannabes with chips on their shoulders. I'm looking forward to playing them, and I was hoping we'd have drawn them in the JPT this season.
  15. Why do so many people discuss hypothetical points? By the way, I think we'd beat united 2-1 (pulis 2 late goals)
  16. Hopefully we can do the double. Champions and win the JPT again. Roll on next season
  17. If it smells like a dead rat he might be in trouble
  18. "long old poke to zameretto league innit. GREEEEEN ARMY"
  19. Maybe his wife would approve of him unleashing the trouser snake!
  20. And you deserve a salute sir if you threw one or 10 back
  21. What are you going on about? I'm not saying it's right ffs. These people don't think like you and me and the majority. Trouble at a game like that is cert and letting the away fans out after a 4-1 win was asking for trouble. if people are intent on causing trouble you do all you can to minimise it. I can see what you're saying though. They were in front of the police with CCTV and camcorders and fans filming/youtubing other evidence, so yes in that respect they are stupid people.
  22. spot on
  23. The point is that there would be more nutters out in force from both sets of fans = high chance of trouble. It's obvious the high percentage of fans would not get involved in trouble. keeping the skates in would've stopped all this happening. And if you can't work out the difference in a bitter derby game to any other game then you're not all there.
  24. It was Saints vs Pompey ffs. Not saints vs Hartlepool on a tuesday night. Letting the skates out early was feckin stupid.
  25. Shall we try and guess who the Derby play is?
