About all a thread on whether or not there is anything more than coincidence in similar results that three very different teams, players, managers and circumstances have provided deserves really. I mean come on - do you seriously think there is anything more than coincidence in it? Seriously? Cos if you do you need to check in somewhere that isn't a web forum.

    Shut up. Thankyou.
  3. Hmmm perhaps true that MLT would not have worked but not sure how someone else getting and losing a job at a different club is proof it wouldn't have worked?!
  4. He didn't have a clue what job he had taken and expected someone else to explain it then they got his job. And the general consensus is to stick with JP?!
  5. My new favourite post right there!
  6. I have cried my tears. I am over it. Just.
  7. Hmmmm as it is on the site now this has to be conclusive proof your winding us up or your source is winding you up!
  8. It is no more.
  9. What a great omen Ebay is!
  10. Yep - all good points - I think you are prob right! Really interesting issue - great to get people's opinions on it - cheers!
  11. Agreed - do you think a campaign of the size of the anti-racism campaign that has made those sort of comments unacceptable in the terraces is needed for this issue?
  12. Hmmm - I think you have a point - footballers will recieve abuse. Always. If they play well not from their fans, if they play badly def from their fans. Always from the opposition. My contention is that a gay out player scoring every week would be loved by their team no matter what but it would be the default setting for the other fans to attack thei sexuality. Similarly for some of the players fans if they started playing badly that too would be the default setting for attack.
  13. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8197306.stm What are people's opinion on this? Is it an issue? Should the FA and clubs be dealing with it as much as cutting "racism" from the game? Would you challenge homophobic abuse in the terraces or welcome moves too or do you think there isn't a place for footballers to 'come out'? Just interested as this has made big news on BBC site as to what people think?
  14. Hmmm interesting points if we were not only 1 game in. Calm down - lets clear the deficit, then get to mid-table, then go from there - rather the most sensible approach and the one taken by AP.
  15. No he hasnt!!! This is the issue - Player has live commentary from each team - the Saints live commentary would have come from Saints Radio/Radio Hampshire when it existed and commentated on matches. Other teams in the league have an in-house commentary system like this streamed on the player. As Saints currently don't in-house it is the Radio Solent 96.1 stream that is broadcast with Dave Merrington. This you are not able to normally get online as radio stations can broadcast live commentary on FM or DAB in their area but not online - the clubs have the right to online commentary and are just using Solent as they don't have the facility. I love our Dave - even if he does just say the same thing over and over again!
