We are important people H, but not that important!! I think there is only one party they need to impress at this time, and we should all be praying they do impress them for the good of the club and the city. From my limited knowledge of current proceedings I can vouch its not all hot air though, things are moving along behind the scenes with possibly a binding offer is imminent that includes a medium to long term strategy for the club. We all gotta keep everything crossed they jump though every hoop as quickly as poss.

'People of influence wanting to talk to their customer base' shocker!! All good from where I stand

Don't associate me with St David FFS!! Been in touch with people close to the action today, MLT on board 100% and hopefully things will move forward this week. Don't throw away your shirt just yet.

People are certainly trying to work out a deal, keep 'em peeled.

Well, the next couple of days will make or break my intel, but I stand by what I have heard thus far.

No relation to Des but I do know his brother is Chief Exec at RBS and I understand he is sole director of Pinnacle Property Consultants, a spin off of the parent comapny and the ones involved in this instance, not Pinnacle Asset Management.

No, Yes and How?

Hope him and Wilde lose everything. What I'd give for the return of the all time classic: Steplowe & Son

I've made a couple of phone calls following the info I received this morning to try and put some names to the people/companies involved. As far as I can make out there is a Southampton based property agency called Pinnacle who have sponsored local charity golf events featuring Le Tiss. Reading between the lines, and this maybe pure coincidence, but this same company also look after a few London property owners (big hitters) who have been spending money like its going out of fashion lately and who also have strong links with another administrator that they've bought at least 2 properties/concerns from. I've been trying to confirm these details with a contact of MLT's but apparently Matt's playing golf in the West Country. But I am reliably informed that this proposal does have Matts implicit support. As for this 'consortium', as far as I can tell there are only actually only 2 or 3 clients they look after!!! Sounds like an ideal set up for Saints fans to get behind. Anybody know any more??

12 years? Gay Askham goes back way further than that.

It was a really good day, everyone had a smile on their face and there was lots of banter!! Everything that has been missing from the SFC set up for quite some time sadly. I couldn't really keep track of the score as was asked to be three places at once to get snaps behind the scenes, but think it was 5-0. When I pointed the camera at Mike Osman he quipped that he hoped these pics weren't going to the IR as it was a cash in hand job. Had a quick chat with Hiley, who now works on Premier League Web Site, he said he left Saints of his own accord and wryly commented he thinks he is one of the very few to leave the club without a pay-off!! When I shot Groves and Heaney, Perry said what is this photo for, 'Who was the biggest waste of money!!' He then joked he would be behind Dixon and Speedie in that list anyhow!! Tiss Jr and Channon Jr both got run outs. The Executive Lounge was overflowing with Woggy gallantly trying to maintain order and a lot of staff and players went on to the Buddha Lounge for a few drinks later in the evening, again all laughing a joking about the good old days at Saints. If only we could a few of these faces involved in a any new set up we'd be dandy.

Why did you waste your time posting this BS?

Should of collected Panini sticker albums like all the other cool kids then. See you tomorrow.

You are moving the goal posts now. You stated that 9 out of 10 fans didn't even know who he was!! Garnted, we were not being overly thrilled at getting Mourinho, but when are we happy with any appointment though? You are labelling the majority of Saints fan with having no general football knowledge. Cheers for that mate, Lowe would be proud of you.
-
Thats a complete and utter BS estimation. You are either an extremely fairweather football fan of under 10 years old if you had never heard of Nigel Pearson. Senior career 1981–1987 Shrewsbury Town 153 apps 1987–1994 Sheffield Wednesday 180 apps 1994–1998 Middlesbrough 115 Teams managed (Before Saints) 1998–1999 Carlisle United 2006 West Bromwich Albion (caretaker) 2007 England U21 (caretaker) 2007 Newcastle United (caretaker)

Its always said a manager needs a good few months to settle in. We went into a very important season with a crack pot expriment, impementing a management set up with no idea of what english league football was all about, or any of the players in it!! We all know why, Lowe was a control freak who never wanted a strong charachter leading the team, he doesn't like his ideas challenged. The replacement of NP, and the use of a outright LIE to justify it, should mean Lowe should be tried for crimes against Sotonians. That one act by Lowe was absolute disgrace, a tragedy of monumental proportions, all to spite Coruch and insert his authority. Just think if Pearson had been given the chance to build on what he started. That one decision is totally indefensible all you blinkered luvvies out there, you should all follow your fallen hero out of town, ashamed of yourselves for backing a dud.

Nineteen Canteen, are a 'kin disgrace to Southampton and all the people who support the team. Get back into bed with your bumboy, wherever that may be now. -
Fixed And what odds Lowe slashing his pay? The man has ruined the whole club from top to bottom. Bye Bye Saints
-
What's the odds that whatever the announcement is, it best favours the Cabal and least favours the club and the fans? LOWE GTFO town you leeching parasite.
