Already wrong tho as the article published I think about 6pm yesterday said "today" Most have quoted Wednesday but we do not know why. Today is Wednesday. so 2 thoughts come to mind IF AP is sacked .. it pretty much has been "leaked" not that it matters a jot but my respect on that key factor alone will go for NC. AND If nothing happens today are we going to accept or lean towards the fact that they just don't comment? & its a nothing story? WHERE did all this really come from ...? Who remembers when AP had "walked" after the 5-1 win? They didnt comment then either FTR Of course It might transpire he is sacked or walked today who knows .. either way I see the f5 key getting used a lot today lol

Actually this is a poor get out clause there is plenty of league 1 & 2 gossip & reported & speculated press out there but they haven't run with this .. why

Spot On & this is the gamble is it not? some seem to think a) it wont matter because who ever comes in will get us promoted. b) they will be better what the hell they are using to judge that god knows BUT if a new man is brought in & is failing we are indeed back at square 1 will then have discontent & disharmony & the honeymoon for NC will be over. It's all very well being grateful, but that will only last so long in reality. Sure they saved us . but dont fool yourself they did it for them as much as us I can see the plan they have/had in 5 years mid table in prem decent stadium decent crowds & training facilities ...& a little more investment ( the recession as ended) & they see us as a going concern to be sold for 100+ million? OK way off, but for that to work Promotion has to be fairly quick .. Especially now season 1 is blank .. they also have to carry along the fans & to be blunt we have ALL I think seen a club where the club is trying but doesn’t have the fans backing & how hard it is to get a club once split back together.. so The right call here is important far more important they we may all realise. It's why I believe his job is "at risk" but he hasn’t been sacked. I don’t think NC is as stupid as some have implied. I think there will be talks this week to discuss the events of the season the things that we “think" NC is unhappy about, the way forward & if that includes AP & I think it's really going to depend on IF AP really WANTS it.. I am of course guessing ..but aren’t we all?

I know what it said but YOU know as well as i do how these rumor mills work IF he was on his way or the wheels in motion someone on the local boards would of had a sniff & more people would be running with it, but they aren't even the forums are quiet when you bear ALL the facts in mind like the fact they supposedly lossing a manager that got them promoted? WHO know's what's going on? I don't but I dont think the mail knows either, they are just rehasing the rumours .. no smoke without fire .. except on message boards forums & football gossip columns where it's morre smoke the less the fire lol

I hear you but one thing seems odd, no one by no one else seems to want to run with the story at all .. yea yea yea it's only league 1 BUT we have plenty of other league 1 & 2 gossip out there ..

At last we agree about something! it's silly to sugest he is irreplaceable nearly every manager is & will be at some point bar the lucky few. However WHO a manager is replaced people makes up weather the actual replacement was worth the gamble. Many things make the "luck" mangers have & teams work & EVERY manager NEEDS luck as well as skill, desire passion & many other skills but ALSO they need the momentum & backing from the players. As it stands AP does seem to have both these important factors.. We wait & see cos I really dont think we will hit ground running if AP goes & Steve cotterill or mark hughes come ..

Newsnow feeds from the mail who haven't been very "friendly" last few weeks & seem to be being fed from the echo .. who seem to pluck half their stories from here LOL

IF he has given out info he's heard ( which i now seriously doubt) he clearly wont get anymore UNLESS it was deliberate.. do any of you think NC would do that? i don't. I think he would either do it upfront or not at all & again say I think ONLY his closest confidences would know & god help them & there jobs if they broke that.

SORRY but this kinda cancels itself out 1) do you REALLY believe they would divuldge that type of info to any media outlet 2) If the info really came from ML direct do you.. never mind what others are telling you or implying do you really think if they are the only contracted media source that they would risk this ... we all seen how daily echo got kicked into touch. No I'm sorry I think we have gone from once "source" that has fed the right "feeds" & pressed the right buttons to be honest. There are things that havent helped. See this is where my opinion is vastly different to many I think. If he had already "gone" in that he knows he's gone I think it would be in the public domain. If it's he's gone in a decison has been made but No one ( AP included) wasn't told yet, then I will give NC more credit & think only his closest advisors would know. the LAST people i would expect to KNOW before it was official would be any one at the echo to be honest. There must be a gulf of difference between it being accepted around the club that NC isn't happy to the fact that a decision has now been made & the party ( in this case AP) not being informed. I also no longer think IF he's is going that NC has lined up Mark Hughes. I think that if NC & AP have a fragile relasionship it goes way beyond the fact we missed the "playoffs" Come on we have ALL heard that interview a few months back where he implied playoffs was goal but that didnt mean we had to go up. As I said earlier too I can't see him thinking ok we missed promotion lets sack him, after all we still have to get out the league & we do have the momentum. We actually know nothing .. & can twist everything we hear to fit the gossip & rumour ML stayed at home .. no programme .. thats really ALL we have yet ML staying at home when there was a very clear risk getting back after game could be awkward makes sense really? so that leaves the programme & i think those that have seen it have said it's NOT due to comments made? is it possible the club can't comment because the ONLY person/s that know haven't informed those asked? so the people asked would rather decline to comment than look stupid later? Either way & i really don't want AP sacked I wish people would quit with the bashing of either ML or NC have more respect for what they have done for us ffs

it's still just rumour but Mark Hughes would worry me. One the one hand it would show intent i guess on the other I worry what he could do in league 1. Either way while I might disagree with what happens ( we dont really know yet) Who ever is in charge will get my support at the games next season unless we start playing crap every game. Mark Hughes has won just over 100 games of 300 games managed this isn't sucesss! ok it's at a higher level but at Man city he had the pick of the worlds best! He has no experiance of lower leagues & the dog fights you have to get into mid season ..

He has already stated they were on the pitch in fact they wonderd on to the pitch almost straight away they looked lost as to what to do, but then so did some stewards

Agreed, Best I have seen him play this season given a slightly different role? I thought he did really well
