Is the important word here. don't actually KNOW, most of this comes about because we & ONE national paper speculated .. before you all start saying several did it was syndicated but MOST chose not to run with it. He HAS NOT sacked Parrds so really its a case of we shut up & see what happens, not a lot of point *****ing all summer about something he didn’t actually do in the end .. AND additionally you don’t get where he is without a degree of arrogance .. a lot of that is OTHERS perception of how the said individual is .. & while it might come over as that normally its healthy determination.. which we do need.

I just listened again to interview .. Interesting I think he (NC) comes as close as he ever will to admitting that he over reacts at times

In this report echo states players we are looking at have been told deals on backburner till manager situation sorted AS IF even if they had been looking at it they would say fook all sheesh .... what utter utter clap trap

Bearing in mind that in his interview in late feb early march NC clearly said HE & HE alone made choices & ALL decisions ... just leaves me thinking the mail is making stuff up

I never agreed with his arguments but I did start to realise towards end of season that both him & alps are not saying what they say to be gimps or argue or whatever & do actually hold & make some very valid points so I had to re read a load of post's just to try listening to the point of view they made better, i think lots of us should do that

Thats the trouble with people trying to look after football matters that have no real backround besides banking lol because to loose all that on the dosent "respect" he's going to have this issue again & again on this journey so he needs to get used to it

No it's not pointless pmsl you can't just dismiss someones argument because it doesn't fit in with the opinion. I have no issue that most don't agree with me but I didnt compare us to Man City what I said was his record at Man City was NOT good. Blackburn was better but it was NOT great. Your right though he's not coming to Saints ..

I was talking last year, before investment & the manager we got, the squad & set up me had was poor & it's really not just about skill & as much as people seemed to want to play on it as soon as we didnt win ( bloody petty) it's a winning mentality that was changed as for chelsea actually NO they haven't achieved yet what they keep sacking for. They won the league BUT they was winning the league already when they started the sacking spree so they are no better off. And john you know as well as I do for every club you list where managers have done well we can list 5 that haven't ( saints fans of all people know that!) but to be fair AP did do well thats not really the debate is it?

Why do you think he will do so well he struggled at Man City to get some great players ( the best in the world in might be argued) performing getting the investment isnt as much a concern as getting a set of players who work as a unit. but yes agree 100% with your second point

Yes I think many think loads could do better .. Indeed maybe they could. But would they come .. more importantly would they stay!on the one hand we assume we cant get players from the top calibre because we are in league 1 then we move from that postion to believe we just have to say we want (name here) to get them .. why? I also think people forget or have chosen to ignore just what a mess the club & it's infarstructure ( excuse my spelling sorry) was in. Far more to a club & going forward than what happens on that pitch. Lets assume we hadn't spent last year .. I think we would of been in danger of relegation again to be honest. So yes we spent but over 50% of that was just to get us on a level playing field in my opinion.

For me depends why they can't. If it's purly ego then NC at some point will have to grow up be it now, tomorrow, or in the future. The problem is this is IF it is ego's or personalitys clashing it will most certainly happen again as soon as we have a manager who feels he's doing ok. I don't want us to be the next QPR thanks .. But we still don't know do we.. All those saying they stand by NC no matter what ... what if at 5pm he has press conference & has barry fry .... still back him no matter what? Great they saved the club, but I still keep the ability to judge for myself & not follow blindly & say yes NC must be right no matter what. Also there are MANY people who cant & dont have the ability to work WITH the chairman .. IF the chairman has sense & nows the person is taking the business in the right direction & has momentum should really be big enough to keep ability to work with aside. Hopefully that was the thinking & idea behind a DOF
