In my experience you would conduct ALL the interviews BEFORE offering anyone then job wouldn`t you? If there are still interviews going on then surely NO-ONE has been offered the job and thus NO-ONE has yet turned us down?????

The ONLY thing that makes any sense to me is IF O`neill is lined up to take over IMO he`s the only manager out there that is currently without a club who would bring more to our club than AP! Am totally gutted for AP he`s been great for us however i`m sure he would have been told that if we didn`t have X number of points before X number of games played then that was it. NC wanted him gone last season and he hung on so i`m sure IMO there would have been a condition like that. I at least still trust NC, although that may change once AP`s replacement is appointed! Lets not slate him yet it may well be O`neill?
