This seams to back up my theory that the players had agreed to play for themselves in the first half and "work to rule" in the second to show what rubbish NJ was instructing them to do. This would also explain JWP not taking shots with the late free kicks, it wouldn't surprise me if NJs instruction was to play it short

Don't want to think that of JWP, I honestly think that it was not his decision not to take the kicks. Either he had an injury/knock he didn't want to risk making worse Or And this is my preferred thinking due to the different level of performance between the two Half's v wolves, the players were playing NJs game in the second half and do what he instructed them to do whereas in the first half they were doing what they wanted. This it was NJs instruction to not take a shot

Fans should not "boo" him however we should not sing his name like we used to either! IF and its a Big IF we can integrate him back into the first team then it will be good for the team. If he then plays poorly to force a move then drop him down to the U23 and surely we could sue him for any loss in his value? They did mention on solent commentary before Everton game that chairperson had spoken to the players, as a group, before the match so that part at least seams true. Personally I believe there has been issues between CP and some players but the question is are they irreversible issues or not? And who do the club value more CP or said players?
