I'm Costa Rica on business at the moment and have been told by the locals that the Chinese Government built them a 35,000 seat national stadium, as a reward for breaking off diplomatic relations with Taiwan. This could be a good model for a Skate Escape. Declare Portsmuff independant of the UK, break diplomatic relations with Taiwan, get a new stadium, then re-instate relations with Taiwan and break relations with China, get Taiwan to fund a new team. Other than that, I can't see a way through this for our fishy friends.

I nearly had a coronary yelling at the screen in frustration at the crappy coverage. 'lets have a close up of the ugly goon Applethingy' whilst the ball is in play. Unbelievable! Give me Sky every time.

Of course there are lots of ways of looking at this, but in the last 3 years 81 points would have been enough to secure 2nd place. As we currently have 42 we would only need 39 more, which is 13 wins in the last 27 games, we could afford 14 defeats! Not sure would want to take that chance though.... Whichever way it is viewed we are in a v strong position.

Got an accidental punch in face whilst celebrating a Saints goal on the terrace at Plough Lane once. Had a pretty bad nosebleed which ended up all over my t-shirt, and I looked like I had been in a serious ruck. It was a problem getting served in the pubs in London after the game. 3-3 draw if I remember.

Lake Tahoe - Kate Bush

Just finished 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time', really enjoyed it, so much I finished it in 2 days. Written from the perspective of a 15 year old with Aspergers syndrome (according to the blub, although the author has denied this to be strictly the case). It is both very amusing, but also thought provoking. I highly recommend it. Just started on World War Z, following the recommedations from this thread.

Child in Time and Stormbringer. SOTW is hard to ignore though!
