    Mosh Pits

Two people did die in a mosh a Donnington 1988. http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/donington-1988.html In my expereince they were usually very vigourous and sometimes brutal, but never spilled over into violence. I used to love them, bit old now, but would still give it a try.

  7. It takes more than a bad case of wan*ers cramps to prevent Barnard having another shot.

  9. Any good chants for Eddie ("I turned the job down") Howe? How about 'Does your Chairman know you're here?'
  10. I blame the new SaintsWeb banner, it doesn't inspire me.

  12. Milton for 17 years. Including a few games in the dangerously steep rain-lashed upper tier of the late 80's. Directly behind the goal about 2/3rds up when seated.
  13. I am still v confident of automatic promotion. Need to get manager situation sorted quick and we won't have lost too much ground.
  14. edit: 3. Whine like a 4 year old.
  15. IF you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: ....etc... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! (Don't Panic)
  16. Fair point, ultimately it comes down to how his contract is constructed and what it says about compensation, in which case it should be pretty cut and dried. If he was approached by Saints, then its reasonable for the club to pay compensation. If he applied for the job then surely it is his responsibility to fullfill the penalty clauses (which of course he would negotiate for Saints to pay) once again it should be clear from the contract.
  17. As far as I can see Nothing has been officially said by Saints at all. So all this back a forwards. 'will he, won't he' crap has been stirred up by S****horpe going to press before it was tied up (probably to try and force NC into a corner). If I apply for a job and get it, I resign and my new employer doesn't pay compensation. Wait until there is official news before reaching conclusions, and give NC a break.
  18. Excellent appointment IMO. Time to get behind the team.

  24. Strangely I feel myself agreeing with views from most of the posters on here. I don't believe Pardew was sacked for 1st team performance or results, the timing makes this unlikely. So it was for something else and it seems to have been quite sudden as no-one else is lined up. We are unlikely to find out the truth and we certainly won't get it from Cortese as this would be unprofessional and could lead to a law-suit. So in this matter I will trust Corteses judgement. In some of his dealings with the media and communications with the fans he has caused himself unnecessary criticism by appearing to be high-handed and not valuing the opinions of other stakeholders. Definate improvement required here. Overall, good leadership is about making the right decisions not the popular ones, but also about pursuading others of your vision. Cortese is getting it about half right IMO. Grade C - Could do better.
  25. Paul Hart is a smokescreen. Just like Tony Adams last time round. Won't happen. Keep the season ticket and use it with pride.
