BIG RON UPDATE: Ron is doing so much better, breathing easier and sleeping well. It appears his condition was maybe nipped in the bud by getting him to Urgent Care so promptly. He is very grateful for all your thoughts and thrilled about Saints important weekend win. Ron's wife Chris, however, is not doing so well - it is almost like they swapped conditions, so keep her in your thoughts (though her condition is not as bad as Ron's could have been). Thanks everyone.

When scheduling my trips home, I always make it so that there is two or three away games and it has to be said that you travelling fans are magnificent. I am privileged to be around you win-lose or draw. The true soul of Southampton support...pretty well without fail a good day out also, with lots of memories.

Because Big Chiv also used to like to attack the far post (except with Ron) I would have to nominate Steve Moran, hopefully to be Chiv's partner as Steve is still the consumate modern day 'Big Guy's' striking partner and since he left we have never had another striker near as good. We sometimes forget just how dynamic Moranie was...

Yeah, maybe I deserve the mocking, but let's carry the momentum through the turnstiles to the Donny game.

Funny thing is Ron has only recently discovered MLT through a VHS tape he's been given. He is absolutely blown away with Matty and says he cannot believe his goals or the things he did with a ball....Now bare in mind he has played with and against the best, Pele, Besty, Mooro etc and yet says he can't remember seeing better.
