Morph FFS, what a brilliant site...loads of great stuff. I have honestly never seen this. Totally new level of respect for Windmill Mickey...really encourage the youngers, any one that wants cheering up or those losing the faith and down in the mouth to visit these links. Geniune thanks - magic stuff....still need Ron footage as well.
-
By now Ron has his new (Titanium, I believe) hip. So keep sending the 'get-wells'

20 points for safety

LOL...hey we seem to be signing a lotta tall guys lately??
-
A lot of truths in his stuff, we could listen and learn from his newer message too... Y'know, know what we're talking about instead of making assumptions or spreading doom'n'gloom 'cause it's on the tv.

Like the moves, fantastic dribbler. Scored a shed load in New York on Tues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LV1mRm_GK3o

Film, video, DVD? Is there anything available besides the obvious 4 @ OT link. Black & White or colour. Greatly appreciate any help or advice. It may benefit us.

Thank you Saint clark and you are a true Saint for saying that. The thing is, we have to wait and see how Ron recovers and reacts after re-habbing today's op. A lot of people are suggesting it would provide a huge boost at a game, I tend to agree. We have also toyed with the idea of some sort of (maybe pre-season) friendly/testimonial/recognition game??? The build up and motivational effect could be really beneficial either at the start or end of the season...Get him out there on the pitch, ten minutes before kick-off, flash up some of his best Southampton goals on the big-screens as he fires us up with a pre-match statement of what Saints and especially their fans mean to him!! Something like that??

Keep 'em coming!

Our greatest centre forward undergoes his second Hip op (no 'hip-hop' puns please) early tomorrow. He has had five vials of blood taken and he quipped to me "Tim, my frigging arm is empty!" Chris, his wife is going to stay with him for at least a couple of nights and he expects to be there until next Tuesday. Please send your 'get well' wishes through this link. All appropriate messages are printed by volunteers and taken to the patient. http://www.phs.org/phs/hospitals/content/card/index.htm

Well I guess those that may have thought it was a weak Sweden side that Sacha banged in an oustanding international hat-trick against maybe surprised to know that they went in and beat a very strong Sven Mexican side. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD-lR7RST5U Does this validate it in certains eyes or is it still not worthwhile?

Great question hypo, think mostly the answer lies in our present paranoia about the relative effort/commitment to salary equasion...probably not his fault. The best answer would be for him to play a couple of really whole-hearted performances and then ties his whats'it to mast with a "I am a loyal and committed to Saints cause" statement in the press or on SFC site....certainly a decent player who's obvious talent could help us.
-
Tvvatalinic...did we ever have a decent 'keeper until Shilts?

Whoops ;-)

These are valid points Micky, I have sent detailed dossiers to first Jan and (yesterday) secondly Mark Wotte by mail and courier. These include assessments of (multi-national and US) players, their ages, international experience, the eligiblity and even their current (paltry) salaries. I may not be any pro talent scout, but have coached Wessex league level at home and Coast Soccer League Major Division out here and have some idea about talent. Micky, I can assure you that there is nothing in it for me except seeing our team (note I don't say 'club') succeed to the maximum for the minimum outlay and minimal drama. I care about two things at Southampton FC our team and our long suffering fans, I only want the best for them. Respectfully I ask you to refrain for continued accusations of me having some ulteria motives...ask the hordes on here that know me.

Thanks, gotta say enjoy your viewpoint and humour as well. This is the most hectic time for me right now. Would like to visit in the Spring and take in a few Saints away days ;-)

Respect your opinion Rog, you're are certainly entitled to it. Cannot remember ever saying that the fans haven't 'supported them through thick and thin' can you? Never said or suggested anything about 'fans having a go' either did I? Where is you got that from mate? It's not 'easy to be in America'...and lastly are you 'helping the situation'. I maybe, just maybe, more in touch than you perceive.

Has signed for Watford...ain't he one of our old nippers?
