  1. If she does'nt like the atmosphere watch it on TV , Fed up with all the PC rubbish and positive discrimination rubbish . part of the fun of football is singing loudly shouting at the top of your voice if you want too and generally people sit or stand where they want in the ground on the basis of the experience they want to savour , some of the best times are the likes of taunting David James when he was live on BT Sport in front of the Northam, or 'he's got a pineapple on his head to the lad from Notts Forest or 'you let your country down' They tell us every year to sitdown , never works , so telling us not to sing hmm cant see that working either St Mary's isnt a church , and most church ceromonies i've been to in the last few years no-one really sings they mumble!
  2. The England B v Russia ,
  3. Andy Hessenthaler , he's had an immediate effect on Eastleigh !
  4. ^ this
  5. just surprised we were not signing ' your getting the sack in the morning' that team selection was cowardly , then we seem to have a new striker who's stats say he'll score heaed goals yet don't recall him winning a header that led to either an attempt on goal or pass to a team mate we need to go back to 4-3-3 , last night I really struggled to join in any of the singing , if the fans arn't inspired by the team selection god knows how the players feel
  6. well thats an ex saint against ex saint, one written off against those who sought medals ha ha

listening to Ian Wright on 5 on way home , he cant understand why JWP doesn't play every game

  9. if you returned it now , they'd credit your account towards next years season ticket!
  10. seat in block 40 and so far the protests have been booing at the end of the game, pretty tame I never said there have been protests during the game, i said there is no better time to protest, whos cares if they talk about Puel , thats history and hindsight always has the possiblity of rewriting with rose tinted specs on, dont see many cameras on crowds after the whistle has blown . the club wants customers, generally customers are fans , if the fans dont return because the clubs in the championship then they have less customers , I'll say it again , 76 minutes, turn our backs will form a great visual protest , no need to take banners etc, at no other point is there 30000 saints fans in one place with an opportunity to voice their views
  11. LD you say support the team , perhaps some effort , a change in tactics would stir the crowd , fans react as much to crap football by booing or protesting , they cheer to great play or a show of effort great fans are not necessarily noisy fans ffs, bad fans are not necessarily quiet fans nor are they noisy protesting fans great fans imo take action to support the club they love and when they don't like what they see they take action, the game after Branfoot left was great for fan reaction and I feel the same now , only one difference now I have a season ticket, then I bought a ticket on the day , I've used my season ticket each game , I did not follow Branfoot I stopped going to games as my protest this time if I see my team getting a hammering I'll be making my voice heard and I'll be protesting , if you want to blindly support the team then out shout me , then at least the atmosphere will be buzzing but I fear all we'll hear in the tv commentary after the game is Oh when the spurs
  12. we've supported the team wheres that got us? 18th so if the manager wont change tactics maybe the fans should?
  13. regardless of where we finish Season Ticket sales will hit rock bottom , the walk up tickets sales will be down , £210m club will be nothing but real estate in the championship with a team of mainly internationals a thing of the past this club needs rid of pellegrino but seems theres a split fan base , the only time the fans are together is at a game , there is no better time to protest 76 minutes if there's still anyone in the ground not singing oh when the spurs go marching in should turn their backs in silent protest
  14. Does a new manager improve the teams chances of survival? On the evidence of 4 wins in the league , a new manager would not have much of a target to get past, 5 wins alone would make us pretty close to safety add a few draws
  15. Les is blundering around in the dark and cant find the black box , maybe VVD took it with him to LFC?
  16. Manager needs to go , how did the club sell a player for £75m before the window and not have cast iron deals ready to go , missed 3 weeks bedding in time , 4 wins is appalling , right now I'd even take Dave Merrington along with Super KD , just sacking him would lift the mood surely , fans arriving at games with little hope of seeing a winning performance , I remember the bounce in my step when Branfoot went and I reckon it'd be the same bounce
  17. well the atmosphere will struggle to be anything but flat, once they score it'll get bad, once they go two up I reckon the stadium will empty , and worse thing will be them singing OWTS
  18. trouble is this transfer window the manager and club drew the curtains when VVD left but forgot to turn on the lights before that and no one can now find the black box!
  19. Whether you agree with Guan or not at least he's put more visible effort into the debate than the club seem to have put into sorting out the mess this season is becoming Organised protest or not , the fans will either sit there silently , blindly following because it'll harm the team or protest because it will aid the team to push the club into a reaction, the dreaded 'the manager has our full backing' has as much as been said by Ralph if you honestly think saying nothing will save us from the championship then carry on , however if you think that making your views known either by holding up a card, turning your back or just shouting Pellegrino out then do that , one thing is certain though this manager has caused huge rifts within the fan base , my question to those who say keep quiet do nothing , do they believe there is not a similar rift in the opinions of the playing staff? why does every debate on this fall down to whose is the better fan ?
  20. So whats more toxic ? Fan arguing with Fan? Fans booing an inept Manager/Board ? If a protest gets underway in the ground I think the true feelings of the majority will get the opportunity to voice their opinion, either the protest gets drowned out by support for the team , or it gains momentum At the moment I've seen nothing from the team or manager to garner any support or get any positive momentum from the fans, the team needs to show it means business, if it doesn't then I reckon the protest will get a head of steam , its a TV game so a PR nightmare if the protests gain the upper hand for the club who knows the players may even revel in trying to prove they deserve the support, its all very well at the end wandering around clapping to those who've stayed after a defeat, we need them to show that appreciation by putting the ball in the net so we can sing their names loud and proud
  21. why not just protest from outside the ground, cameras would be viewing an empty stadium to start with , or turn our backs in the ground on the game , the PR machine couldn't ignore it , going in late would affect the stewards as well , as they'd have to keep manning the turnstiles
  22. Well why just not enter the ground at kickoff there would be an empty stadium apart from spurs fans just everyone gather outside .
  23. With the 5 hour time difference only got to see the result and read the posts .no progression or any signs of MOPE learning from previous games not a clue. He needs to go SKD could do no worse why not team him with Nigel at least it would get most fans onside. Not back in UK til after Fulham game but the guy needs to go now the club needs huge boost in morale the team wont perform nor will the fans. The Leicester game atmosphere was bad before the goals because the fans expect to be entertained the rot has set in merely removing MOPE would lift the crowd .Puel went because of season ticket sales or was it a blind because club was being sold? If it was ticket sales then championship football should scare thehell out of them and would ruin all the previous work and the memory of Marcus.
  24. I believe Puel only went because of season Ticket Sales, we cant wait til the summer, Pellegrino needs to go now, I remember the Branfoot era and never thought it would get that bad again even in the two Lowe eras Regardless of what they do the club doesnt feel right, the Leicester crowd was flat even before the goals , and I honestly expected us to lose 1-2 to Huddersfield and I felt most of the crowd were half expecing that result as soon as we scored and then sat back, Go get Rodgers or maybe try Benitez, the team needs a shake up from a manager who will instantly get their attention
