at least with Steve we never watched him for 90 mins on a regular basis, just image he was Stewart Downing then how ****ed off we'd be by a lack of an end product! One of those players with loads of promise but never quite making the grade,

This, Nigel a true legend , Blackpool or Leeds maybe? Whoever will get a great manager, much as I miss WGS interviews I'll miss your upbeat interviews

shot ourselves in the foot, absolutely ridiculous decision, club lost its soul now, the spirit that NA had brought into St Marys has vanished The guy's never managed in the Prem anymore than NA had , this guy would have to hit the ground running, no wonder we've signed no one and the rumour was he wanted to know who was pushing for his signing. End Game , we'll be going back to the Championship. f u Cortese

Legend, served under countless managers, saw off countless recruits to the Dell, and made some awesome tackles, probably one of the best man markers seen at Saints, and his goal well it was DC

Remember going thru the whole Anderson thing with my son, had to collect all the figures. Once met the man when his models were on tour, he had some strong views on why he was no longer on tv and had talked of several projects that never made the light of day great man, great imagination and yes I still have my thunderbirds and stingray annuals

over reaction, all hand bags with no intent, pure frustration led to the ball being kicked away, surprised that Van Persie wasnt sent off for raising his hands to an opponent.

We just seemed tired and lacking a spark, the midfield didn't have the space due to Liverpool at home pushing up, thought we should of got in their face more and hussled them, they always seemed to have a spare man to pass too, whereas even at throw ins we seemed to stand like statues , not looking for the ball or attempting to make space. Gaston seemed to be trying too hard to so his skills, frustrating but he has to learn he can't dribble round the whole team!
-
poor ref, hmmm seems foul throws no longer an offense, lost count of the number of foul throws, and obviously an arm around a player isn't a foul either and perhaps obstruction has been dropped from the rules as well!
-
Well theres Rob Green bench warming at QPR, now he can't be happy with that situation so come January maybe worth a punt?

Managed to get my tickets online, although it did say 'eligible ' so guess I was lucky ,

Well AL isn't skipper material, and currently I think he's part of the problem, Fox ball watches but often , too often hes left two on one because AL hasn't tracked back, He's a great player but we seldom get an end product, time to drop him, personally i'd have JWP in his place. Davis, no better than Hammond would've been, too often we pass to a guy with his back to the opposition, or we delay the pass so the space is closed down. When RL comes deeper and deeper to try and influence the game then youknow the midfield isn't right. maybe MS needs to play sweeper then push the fullbacks forward, make the famous bus we 're all supposed to be on, just park it in the middle, Employ Gary Neville as defensive coach, hated him as a player but he'd get the respect and seems to talk sense everytime i've seen him on TV
-
pity we had nobody who could really make contact in the first half, if we're gonna get punished by a ref for looking with intent, why not get stuck in, thought we showed too much respect in first half and needed to really get tighter to them, and when will Fox actually watch where his player is rather than ball watch

Well sorry to say it but this game and the formation has changed my mind. Really don't understand Guly as a player or what he brings, the team is now suffering confidence wise and for that reason alone 442 has to be the scheme but listening to Nigel he ain't gonna change, and watching his walk off the pitch I think he knows he's a gonner. Reckon we'll get an announcement later this evening or in the morning and the end of an era will be upon us Thank You Nigel the last two seasons have been fun but last seasons efforts will be wasted before the end of November at this current rate, and 1.3 points a game was quoted on Solent so its time to go. If he survives he has to change, safety in prem has to come first.

Nope it was two right then one left in the Russia game
-
Le Tiss , In the Hoddle era against the Russian B I think at Loftus Road

Why not simply swap Lambert and Jayrod over? Lambert does very well coming in on the far post, and has much more to his game than simply being in the box. Ok Lamberts not quick, but the current system doesn't work, either go 442 or forget staying in the Prem, most of Saturday we appeared to only have 451,

If the money being used for the non contract players is the released match by match season ticket money, what happens when its an away game? the players arn't the only wages or costs whose paying for the backroom staff at the club? the gas the elec, the rates to the council the PP earmarked for the former heroes so Birch can't afford this to go on too long.

The Realist 1:19 PM on 15/08/2012 League chairman live on Sky Sports saying Pompey have no golden share! Oh dear.

Radiator warming up when only hot water system on
ringwood replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
its the three way valve stuck, look near the tank, there will be a valve with an electric motor on, probably clagged up with iron from the radiators. If you can see the isolation valves its a diy job to take it off, often just a clean out and refit, but the big diy stores do sellthem -
isn't TB responsible from the day he's appointed for all out going costs incurred? such as wages ? such as deferred wages? taxes? NI?, now he's can only pay out using funds coming in but the shortfall to the real wages is whats hurting, maybe TB is getting worried he's the new 'reluctant ' owner ?
-
Hmm now Blackmore is a BBC employee and therefore supposed to be impartial, wonder how his employers would view his comments especially in view of the recent twitter comments by footballers and the outrage in the written press seems to me he should actually consider the fact that most people live within their means, as its always said to be a short career suppose the deferred payments are towards a pension scheme? the players signed contracts, the club willingly gave them, TB really is in the last chance saloon, why would a club pay for these players if Pompey go pop they are as cheap as a Bosman Here's hoping Blackmores not stupid enough to spout off on air as acomplaint to the Beeb and career finished with no parachute payment!

had a case at Glasgow airport, brand new car, only about 20 miles on the clock, fuel gauge didn't go the top, anyway used the car for about 70 miles filled it at the garage on the airport and bingo still not showing full. So explained it, showed them the receipt, and the mileage and got it written on the return form, two weeks later we get a bill for fuel, well that company argued until we provided the written and signed doc fro the returns, they then said sorry its an oversight at which point my accounts dept replied sorry we seem to have lost the details of your account, seems we'll have to look elsewhere for hiring vehicles, bear in mind my company uses hire cars on a daily basis worldwide, their oversight cost them a small fortune!

found this http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/4c/ec/0,,10794~126028,00.pdf Has some interesting lines The Football League was faced with a novel situation: how to protect the interests of the unsecured creditors in the absence of a CVA? The completion of a CVA is not an absolute requirement of the Football League. The Board retained the discretion to waive the requirement in exceptional circumstances and to fashion a situation to preserve the integrity of the competition, to protect Football Creditors, without letting down unsecured creditors. In doing so it had to be astute not to set a precedent that put the principle underlying the Insolvency Policy at risk. Normally Regulation 11 requires that a new Member (i.e. Leeds NewCo) should start the following season in a lower League (here L2). Leeds NewCo wanted to avoid this ‘relegation’ and to ensure Leeds stayed in L1 it was prepared to pay a price to achieve this. The Football League was receptive to the idea and indicated that it might be prepared to exercise its discretion to permit this to happen. So best they avoid PFC 2012 as a newCo
