Really can't understand why Sharp doesn't start in most peoples suggested line up, given how many goals he has a reputation for scoring. Lee is going to be great for us but he's not proven. Guess his wonder goal has earnt him a few starts though

I asked Nicola about this and he didn't seem to know that it had even stopped. He said that's not something he gets involved with but said the problem was the license doesn't allow them to serve alcohol until an hour after the match has finished almost people don't hang around... I'm sure beer was available straight away when it was being trialled though...

You're clearly taking the p1ss but I don't see why he shouldn't be applauded for those points amongst many others.. I'm not convinced he'll be around long after getting us to prem but while he's here I'm certain he's giving it everything to make us successful in a big way

During the chairmans Dinner Cortese mentioned that when Guly joined he told him that he thought the players didnt like him, as he's used to shaking each players hand in the dressing room but no one invited him to shake their hand. Seems he is a sensitive chap, which may explain his change in attitude for some games. Maybe he reacts to pressure worse than other individuals so support rather than attack is what he needs...

Little things keep coming back from dinner with Cortese. Latest memory jog is that he said cork and ward-prowse were selected for initial 300 for Olympics (plus one other if i remember rightly) Not sure if that's common knowledge.
