I do agree about not settling for a draw by the way as we are better than that (or rather WILL be), but surely a draw wont hurt so much if we finally forget about the playoffs this season?

Because I feel our main problem this season has been due to having so many new players and trying to get them to work well together. Also having a new manager whos been playing players in different positions trying to work out how good they are as he's only known them five mins, having a dilema every week about which of our million players to play in a game etc and so by next year we should have a crackin' team that have gelled (hate that term tbh) and that can walk over any of the teams in this league... Just a hunch mind

I was talking about THIS season, not in general from season to season :cool: Of course next season we'll kick butt. Its just this season we keep hanging onto the slim chance of making it but its clear the playoffs ceased to be a realistic possibility some time ago.

At what poiint do we actually stop talking about the playoffs? and will people just enjoy the game of football for everything that it is then and be happy with a draw?

Ah it was puncheon then. For a minute I thought it looked like Antonio but didn't remember hearing him come on that early. Very selfless setup indeed. Was great to turn my opinions of the new boys around in this game. Especially when it comes to lee 'get in the way in the box' Barnard as I had come to know him as :-)
