  2. I agree the COYR chant is engrained We even sing it when we play a team in red ffs like both Charlton games I have grown to like the sash but would prefer to be back in stripes most important though ditch the black away and revert to Yellows Whoever heard anyone sing come on you blacks

  4. we told the stewards and the cops you didnt do anything. They also told us half time you refused to make any complaint against the guy that smacked you, so fair play. Another guy who did NOTHING other that keep you two apart also got asked to leave. just for your amusement; after you "left" someone started a who was the mystery fan chant about the guy that smacked you
  5. Lift Available to / from Walsall from East London. Will be departing around 330pm; can pick up from Wanstead or Leytonstone tube stations Central Line, sorry no detours on route or return. Have up to three places available in my car, looking to share petrol costs only but I am defo going regardless of passengers. If interested please private message me. Cheers COYR
  6. What price future potential? I remember when some thought £3m was a good price for Shearer! Its all been said above but AOC being happy to stay and Nicola turning down all bids is a massive statement of intent. I was told shortly after Markus passed away from someone very ITK that we are still a very lucky club, we will never know the size of the funding legacy and the family could go cold on Saints but the impression I got was the funding is their for a return to the premier league and the the aspiration was the champions league. This is a test of that resolve for the club but also the player, if his head gets turned he will go and I suspect Saints wont stand in the way.
  7. yyyyeeeeessss no 4
  8. Should make for a cracking atmosphere with plenty of time for a pre match beer Looking for at least 7 points from the next league games to keep the momentum COYR
  9. great for the club the fans and the players COYR
  10. Hollaway expressed interest in the Saints managers job but Nicola choose "our Nigel" and what a great choice Also as mentioned it was their fans wo started the "we are premier league" stuff - storm in a teacup stuff anyway Great win, good performance onward and upward
  11. They cant afford him anyway.
  12. Davis 6.5 Solid, bit shaky at the end Butterfield 7 Worked hard Fonte 7 Mr Reliable Jaidi 7 Not quite as good as v huddersfield but resolute Dickson 7.5 Improving player Chamberlain 7 Always a treat but tired 2nd half Hammond 6 Always involved Chaplow 6.5 Battled but passing not as incisive as usual Lallana 8 Class Guly 7 Nice finish you just never know what he is going to do Lambert 7 Lead te line v well Great finish at the end Keep going Ricki Barnard 7 All effort when he came on Deserves a start v the Pool Richardson A change too many near the end? Fans 7.5 Special mention for the fans on the home terrace who worked their way along to be next to us Saints fans Manager 8 The guts to change a winning team, and it worked although scare at the end with their shot on (over?) the line.
  13. 1st Oh When the Saints just sung in the Eastbrook......
  14. At last an away game that should be on! Squad rotation perhaps? Barny and Dickson to start and Jaidi back too? Not a great area for pubs but this is near the ground and opens at 11 Name: The Eastbrook - Location: Dagenham Address: Dagenham Road, Dagenham, Essex, RM10 7UP Travel tip allow at least an hour from Waterloo to Dagenham East; note District line as partial closure altough does not effect you if you are travelling from Waterloo - Jubilee. Lets stay 2nd
  15. Watford 1 Poopey 0
  16. in the Woodrow Wilson in Carlisle quite a few Saints fans around would have been here in 4 1/4 hrs but for M6 accident as it was 5 1/4 COYR
  17. congrats to the 900+ last year we are making the trip this year not sure how many of the extra 500 tickets have been sold for those thinking of staying up there we booked the IBIS for £50 for a twin room
  18. seems a slightly strange one to me not first choice midfield but a useful guy to have on the bench makes me think permanent midfield strengthening on the cards come January, Chaplow obviously in the frame
  19. the train could not go via Havant because the driver did not know the route - i kid you not!! Good spot on the D&R typo duh woops!
  20. So who else was impacted by the train problems London bound caused by the broken down train freight train near Winchester?? 10pm from Soton was still at Eastleigh at 11. Bus laid on to Winchester and Basingstoke before the train did get on the move. Loads of Saints and D&G fans impacted. Anyway, great win, just got our Carlisle tickets. COYR
  21. had the better of the first half but lacking a cutting edge Ricki looks a bit iff the pace but sharp on the ball near the box midfeild better than recently guess about 1500 Saints fans here
  22. Just to put this praise of the Bournemouth fans in a bit of context, a few of them were not a credit to their club at all. Throat slitting gestures at the Northam based Saints fans at worst, plenty of V signs, w888rs etc. etc. A minority most certainly, but not what you would expect from the biggest OAP evacuation since the war.
  23. well worth having as an impact player on the bench this no Pardew comment or indeed mention from DC is beginning to seem a bit strange!
  24. not only no quote from Pards but no mention of him by DC either just the Chairman. This is beginning to seema bit strange
