TO Peculiarities when it comes to relocating ST seats.
MadDogMatt replied to sotonjoe's topic in The Saints
I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem I have had? Am looking to move (retire!) from Northam block 42 to Kingsland block 35. Phoned Ticket Office at earliest oppotunity 12 last Friday as I was after a particular area of block 35, like the OP I think this is ok! Anyway my problem on renewal was a different one. Last season I moved seats for quite a few games when going with other family members, friends etc. This has meant I have 14 seats associated with my customer number and the T/O have been unable to process my renewal. The T/O are trying to resolve the problem, still after a week, but there must be quite a few impacted by this? Not moaning just letting you all know. T/O tell me the seats I want are held for me. They have been polite / helpful but I have had to phone for updates rather than them keeping me informed. Dull post but for your info. -
Great interview with Jay, as others have said seems very much an Adkins type of signing, modest, bright and of course hungry.

£6,000,000/£575 (Northam Renewal Price) = 10,400 + season tickets - no more complaints from me on the price hike, and more signings to come

Confidence - Paying for my new Porsche!
MadDogMatt replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
A better bet is 4/7 to stay up, thats a 50% + return on your cash in less than a year. In fairness its the type of bet you need to able to risk a wedge on to make it worthwhile. Me thinks the price will change when our signings start getting announced. I can't see any spread bet prices available at the mo, if they reflect the second favorites to go down tag I am a buyer at up to 40 points -

MadDogMatt replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
Thanks Mike! In that case I was there in 78, 11 and come this or next Saturday (everthing crossed!) 2012! -
Apologies for being in the Red & White top tomorrow but I have been pub crawling my way from Peter to Middles (Borough) and not been home yet - hoping for a win to finish a great week off with promotion tomorrow! WIFM and all Saints fans everywhere, those lucky enough to be going and those at home or in the pub!

Guys lets not have a pop at that those not going This will be my 35th game of the season, I am a Northam s/ticket holder but I am exciled 2 miles from Upton Park. There are 100s of fans more loyal than me not from games attended but from spending dosh they have not got or time they dont have I am going to Borough on behalf of all Saints fans, 1 game a season or every game COYR

This stacks up. West Ham had around 5,000 tickets for their recent midweek visit. A lot of clubs sell away tickets in blocks and the buying club has to commit to buying the block in totallity up front, I suspect this is why Saints are selling the first terrace and seat batches in the way they have. I agree Saints should have been more transparent about this. If I am right its also cheeky of Peterborough to sell in commited blocks as its really only a valid policy for clubs that could otherwise sell the tickets to home fans - and they are rarely if ever at capacity.

I can get the two I have spare to you, see my post above, email or private message me. Cheers

I have two adult tickets for the game but now can't make it now due to unexpected family commitments, rats. I am keen to pass these on rather than see them go to wasteso grab yourself a bargain. If you are thinking of going but haven't got yours yet you can have mine for £35 for the pair and I will post them to you first class tomorrow, thats £13 off the £24 x2 I paid and thats before the £3 ticket tax!! We can sort out payment by PayPal. They are block EB Row V seats 47 and 48, they say rstricted view on them but as has been said on here already they all seem to. First come first served, email me MadDogMatt7@gmail.com and do me a favour and raw the lads to victory. Cheers

Lets not sing Millwall fing songs ffs, couldn't believe some of our yoof were singing Bubbles songs at both the Millwall games. Travel wise, Upton Park tube will be busy but they have tubes q'd up both ways normally timed for post match so should not take more than half an hour. Walking to Plaistow or East Ham is not a bad idea though, nor is getting any bus to Stratford or Canning Town. Black cabs are rare in these parts, you would be waiting a long time and one would set you back about £40 to Waterloo. A mini cab however will be more like £20 to Waterloo or about £8 to Stratford but book one from a cab office pre match or join a wait there too. One good local mini cab number for you 0208 555 5555. A lot of the traffic heads east to wear most WH fans live - Essex. None of the pubs near the ground are very good or pre match friendly. The Black Lion in Plaistow mentioned above is good. Best area for pre match beers is Borough Market at London Bridge, or the Cow in the massive new Westfield at Stratford, or lots of choice in the east side of the City round Aldgate. COYR

Been watching Saints home and away for 30 years plus and than was the worse journey I can remember. Was travelling to and from East London and never made it back ....... worse type of car to have for snow, a rear wheel drive automatic!! As mentioned by several roads back to the M6 were dreadful, cars losing grip and sliding all over the place especially the slightest of uphill. Son was a star getting out the car loads of times using the floor mats to give tempoary grip. M6 and then the M1 was a mare. 30 mph most of the way sometimes less, wild excitement to hit 40 a couple of times. Full monty slide and spin on the M1 was a scary moment. Jackknifed tanker lorry in front of us near Watford and we ended up sliding into the snow of the recovery lane. Well and truly stuck. Two cops in a 4x4 managed to get the tanker on its its way and then us too with a good old fashioned push. Limped to to North Circlular and got stuck a few more times. Took a unknown route to avoid a hill on the NCirc, more getting stuck etc. Slid into a side road to park and with the help of a local guy managed to wheel spin to the side of the road after what seemed an age. Managed to find a cheap and cheerful hotel mile and half away on foot, got there 0215. Car is still somewhere near East Finchley. Amen. Oh yeh, the game. Fully derserved a point. Spider bossed midfield. Energetic display from Lallana and Punch. Martin and Fonte solid. One vg save from Davis.
