  1. Agree with you. Looks like it's leading up to be 'yet another uneventful close season'.
  2. The Aubergine on the pitch away at Bristol Rovers (4-0), Pardew's last match. Was it an omen? I will not rest/return to my home planet until we have answers..
  3. Been there once -------------------8-0 defeat in the ice and snow, and the minibus windshield smashed afterwards. Happy days.
  4. The Love Match 1955 featuring Bolton Wanderers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkOy3nDWDA4
  5. The Arsenal Stadium Mystery - a ripping yarn
  6. Someone stuck a Francis Benali sticker on top of a Francis Benali sticker I'd already stuck to something (a cat). WAC.
  7. Gussie Fink-Nottle
  8. Egypt 1 Morocco 0
  9. ... and just try not clapping and see the dagger looks you get - happened to me at Villa a few years back when I was a neutral spectator. For me football is about losing yourself in the moment and getting relief from real life losses etc. I like the way we do it with All Saints Day, it has dignity.
  10. This has got 5-5 written all over it.
  11. The club will do a 'Blues Brothers/ Barnstoneworth United' and get the old team back together.
  12. Best - Withdean. Worst - the move from rock star to sensible haircut.
  13. Les motes juste, mon ami - Allez Les Saints
  14. Oh Lordy, we're in for it now. I'm off to the hills to lie low till it all blows over.

  17. Coded message received and understood agent ROGER -- Plan X implemented in 3-2-1............GOGOGOGO.
  18. 8-0 I was there. I still wake up screaming now.
  19. The line up is announced 1 hour before kick off.
  20. To be fair, 1916 was a feck sight worse.
  21. I walked down the shops three times today - THREE TIMES. I'd like to see one of one of these overpaid Premier League primma donnas try that.
  22. Please do, it would be great to see them.
  23. I might be wrong but i seem to remember Kelvin Davis dislocating Austins shoulder in a 1-0 defeat at Swindon in League One. If so then that makes it all the more likely to happen again. So it's Kelvin's fault lol..
  24. The sooner 2016s over the better.
  25. He was absolutely supreme tonight. I know it was 'only San Marino' but they played 11 man defence and that takes some getting through. Davis' vision, skill and all round direction of his team mates was a joy to behold, and as for his set up for the final goal, pure skill. Bravo Sir, Bravo!
