I think we're underestimating our performance against against West Ham. Ok, we scraped a 1-0 win but we demonstrated all the tools we need to challenge for promotion, against possibly the best side on paper in the league. Just because we didnt win 'big' so to speak, I think it could prove to be the game that gave the players the belief that that could actually go on and win back to back promotion. It also showed that we can cope with sides that are going to go down the route one road against us.

Another great fighter from a bygone age has sadly passed on. I remember being allowed to stay up as a kid and listen to his first fight with Ali on the radio. No live TV then, you had to go to the Gaumont to watch it live by satelite. Many memorable fights, including his fight with Foreman, even though he got battered, he still did his upmost to knock Foreman out. Pity Haye and Harrison didn't adopt the same approach. Unfortunately heavyweight boxing is now more like WWE. Lots of hype, but very little substance.

I once managed to get through to 606 on the way back from Blackburn the year we got relegated and we got beat 3-0. I was pretty leathered, and by all accounts I sounded like Rowley Birkin QC from the Fast Show. Probably made more sense than Mike though.
