It might be seen as blasphemy on here, but I was never really that convinced with Strachan, we were very fortunate that season, our cup run apart from the 3rd round was against lower league opposition, so a relatively easy route, and when we got there I think he picked a side that would keep the scoreline down rather that go out and try and win. I dont feel comfortable with hero worshipping a football club chairman/CEO etc. This is not meant to be an anti Cortese post, as I said I think he's been great for the club, nearly all of his contraversial decisions have been vindicated.
