Patterson had the opportunity to go out on loan to 2 sides this season but declined choosing instead to stay and fight for his place. I think he should discuss this further with AP and see what his chances are of 1st team football this season. Maybe with the increasing fixture list it will be worth keeping him around.

Gordon Taylor has already stated that Pompey's plight is being looked at and is becoming an embarrassment at the PFA. They will have to take action soon if Pompey don't sort it out...as a case like this has never happened in the Premierleague before i'm not surprised that they haven't done anything yet...but they will use Pompey to set a precedent for other clubs...like they did with Saints. some form of point deduction for financial irregularities even though they aren't in administration could be the way to go!

well I don't know much about him but at 6 foot we certainly can do with some bigger boys at the back in this division. I suspect that Lee M will be considered too small and shipped out. If we get a big right back in then you will know the thinking behind AP! I think a big defender who can play across the back four would be a good addition and a right back. I see L James being used more in midfield which is his proper position. I'd like to see some players leaving as well to get the squad size down...this creates more of a team spirit as well!

I don't think Strachan has anything to prove by coming back to Saints with us in League 1. He could get a job in the premiership tomorrow. If he did come to saints and started really well and then Man City sacked Hughes he'd be the first manager they call! I'd prefer a manager who will offer Saints some stability that's why I'd go for Boothroyd or Tisdale...simples!

The membership gets you into the Dell ball at the stadium as well and discounts in the shop. I think they could easily extend this maybe to include membership to the Saints TV. Or they could set up a special Saints membership forum, where members can be consulted for various things at the club. Season Ticket holders should get membership included. Which hasn't been the case before.

I don't think Strachan will go from Celtic to league 1 but if he wants the Saints job it's his to turn down would be my view. Other than him I would give the managers job to Aidy Boothroyd with Keegan as Director of Football and Le Tiss as Chairman. Then we'd have the passion back in the club and one of the best coaches who I believe could end up as good as Moyes at Everton.
