  4. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/cash-pledges-to-help-trust-buy-pompey-flood-in-1-4547551 Trust spokesman Colin Farmery said: ‘So far we have had around 2,000 people pledge £1,000, and at least another 1,000 get involved via syndicate schemes." Is this me - but he doesn't talk about the no of people who have paid - but the no of pledges!! which is a completely different thing - so how many have paid up??? Mark
  5. so if they sell 10000 pints, they will bring in £1000 - note that they are adding 10p to the pint price - so even if not a supporter, stilll donate - not pub donating - just the poor mug customers! Mark

  9. @pn_neil_allen: Looks like Simon Eastwood signed on for tomorrow's match at Plymouth. Don't expect any others. #Pompey
  10. 4 million budget - that works out @ over £3.8k per week if they take 20 players - that is a huge amount for L1 - no wonder all these players want to sign for Pompey - mad ..... Mark
  11. I was in the queue today - MLT was just in front of me buying a ticket for him & daughter! Enjoyed the game - Clyne / Puncheon seemed to link up well - scored a good goal - de ridder didn't so good when he came on. Thought Chaplow played well as well. Mark
  12. what I would like to know is who is leaking the info about when / what deals have been offered to players - surely that is confidential??? Mark

  19. Hi, Thinking of nipping down to St. Mary's tomorrow AM to get my ticket ... save me queuing like I did for Tranmere & missing start!! Does anyone know what time TO opens? Thanks Mark
  20. I think Papa was offside from the goal kick, as to the penalty - well there were a no of people on the line, so it might not have gone if Lambert had headed the ball ... so I can see why the ref didn't send him off ... The 1st half was dire, but that is because we played Tranmere's game ... they slowed it down, fell over at every opportunity, etc ... 2nd half we were a lot more positive & once we scored ... game over!! Great game ... oh yes ... what the heck was going on with tickets, I queued for nearly 30 minutes to get ticket ... missed the 1st 2 minutes ... people behind me must have missed 15-20 minutes, as they were still joining back of queue as game kicked off .... Mark Mark
  21. which i am now watching .... no idea what language .. Mark
  22. Hi, I was chatting to him & his father on Saturday, while watching Eastleigh. He was disappointed not to be playing for Eastleigh ... but I think they were worried about him getting injured. Told me that he was due to sign Monday (today) + play against Torquay for the reserves today. He MAY come back on loan to Eastleigh for a month, but is not sure. Came across as a nice lad, who is thrilled to be playing for Saints. Mark
  23. I thought he meant that if he didn't manage it, they find someone who could. Mark
