Excellent manager by all accounts. Cortese is investing in our future. Adkins - best manager we've had for a long time, but we are a team on the up and there is little room for sentiment in the Premiership. Let's wish them both well and coyr !!!

Reference the quotes regarding being tired at Liverpool and Norwich, I look at the bench and wonder what options NA has at times. The bigger clubs have a team, as good as our starting XI, on the bench or in the stands just watching. We don't have this. A year ago we had plenty of options, but in the premiership those options, when do they come on, get found out too quickly. I suggest we need to strenghen in various areas if we are to maintain this level over a season.

The 5-5 was definitely mid week and a corker. In the days before a scoreboard and a couple of our defenders had to ask the crowd the final score as they thought we'd lost 5-4. Mark Hateley was brilliant that night ! but we were better !!

Totally agree on Lambert. Even when he's not on song, he draws defenders away due to his work rate. Also defends well when we need him to. Ramirez and Lambert always cause defenders problems, which gives Rodriguez greater opportunity to get in on goal. In the end we have 2 teams, offense and defense. The offense are premiership quality on the majority of occasions, where as the defense are still in the championship. If we can get the defense to do their job and stop making mistakes, we will be able to go back to the pure passing game we have seen over the last few years and we will win games !

Stick with Shaw. I remember a fresh talent called Wayne Bridge playing at left back and also one Gareth Bale. Raw talent, but settled in very quickly. Fox is very one dimensional, only makes about 30% of his passes. Lallana has to be allowed to be creative and we cannot blame Fox inefficiencies on Lallana not always being there to support him.
