  1. ...for their players' conduct against us. And a happy Xmas to Gus and all his sporting pals and colleagues :-)
  2. Golac, Kirkup and Dave Webb too but agree completely with Hurlock, McGrath (my all time favourite double-hard bast*rd), O'Neill, Dennis Hollywoood, and what about Razor Ruddock? Franny too because he hates skates enough to get psychotic :-)
  3. I don't believe it but I'm agreeing...mostly because I agree with Saint76er's assessment that I voiced during the game - I really don't think I've ever seen a performance from any keeper at a professional level as poor as Bart's today. I probably think he is shot for us because it all happened in front of the Sky audience and much as I've always supported him (and all Saints players...I'm not a serial critic of our players) I fear this may be one that is too difficult to fix.
  4. ...But before you go Particularly F*cking Cretinous 123...are you looking for a used car? I know of two... One comes with it's own fully paid for modern and immaculate garage plus a desirably located service area- is HPI cleared, has immaculate bodywork, very clean interior, impeccable service history, new engine (replaced after a minor problem and currently running beautifully) - Two careful owners or Back street garage special....umpteen outstanding HP payments, outstanding parking and speeding tickets and a police marker on for fraudulent activity, bent and tatty inside and out, on 5th engine (just died) stinks a bit but apparently (but unprovably) had enthusiastic previous owners (not many) The price...the second one costs around six times the first but it has got history... Which would you buy?
  5. I chuckled :-)
  6. Found my first grey pube today...I'm not usually one to bother about these things but it was in a Ginsters pasty...
  7. Can you really believe we'll not be up for it???!! The highlighted part of the above is the valid part...with their propensity for cards of varying colours they could easily end up a player down trying to keep up.
  8. You could take a bell...that would be a popular choice.....
  9. Matt Le Tissier
  10. Cork? The re-signing of Lallana, Barnie etc For what it's worth I think the Echo are a typical parochial publication looking to make news when they have blown their credibility with their local club - an issue for both parties but far more for the paper as they trade on being 'local'. As has been pointed out they have not got any access to the real figures so they can make up any massive or minimal pot stories they like and the information will be just as flawed either way. Vote with your pocket guys...they'll not last if nobody buys or advertises and enough letters about poor journalism will point the shareholders as to why they're circulation is falling.
  11. But....almost optimistically given your record, you don't say when! So, rarely for sure, I agree with you...it will at some stage. Beaten to it by the poster above...must type faster!
  12. Thanks for the reply - it's quiet at the moment - any knowledge of the VW/Audi etc 3lt diesel?
  13. Ah...so our away support figures will only be about three times the size of theirs instead of four....and we get to deprive them of some income...and we get less people struck down with e coli from the toilets so not all totally bad. I do fear it's more a victory for Hampshire police though...they made it too bl**dy awkward for many to bother - we'll still d*ck them at St Mary's if they've not been wound up, condemned, jailed...pick your own reason.
  14. Perhaps you could explain the meaning of your first sentence for the benefit of post number 8?
  15. A rational view from the inside perhaps?
  16. This - don't feel qualified to comment on the game as I wasn't there.
  17. Beautifully put!
  18. In my class at school and played with him at Hamble Secondary as it was then and I saw him play against (I think) Hull and Plymouth in the early seventies -then heard he had gone to play in the States. One of several brothers/sisters I think - Steve also played in a scouts team I played in that his Dad (also top bloke) ran. He was on stage at the Mike Osman/Lawrie Tiss tribute last January but I didn't get a chance to speak...going by my own age he'd be 57/8 now.
  19. So - a comment on the manners but not the content?
  20. Or being a bigger fish (!) in a smaller pond...
  21. When your lifestyle was/is/will be paid for by Paddington Bear it's easy to sneer...
  22. A missing 'H'?
  23. Well - I too can be selective...are you really happy about the way it's all turning out? Do you think this thread has run it's course? Do you think your principled principal has left you in a good situation? I've got to say that for sheer comedy value you have added a further source of ridicule to a thread that barely needed it so keep dropping by for more why don't you?
  24. Brilliant signing!!
