Poor Ricky....would be nice if he stayed long enough to score against them.....and then tell Colin to do one!
-
Is Ricky still on Cardiff's books?
-
He's already better than that..

Please sell Dusan Tadic to Liverpool

Silly to get rid of him let alone to them. Always capable of a perfectly weighted pass, a killer feint and the assist stats speak for themselves. He missed out on having Pelle to turn his assists in to goals this year or his percentage would have been higher. Keep -
Puel Sacked? - As Reported by Crook of Sh*t

Then you are as deluded as he is -
Wash your mouth out son....;-)

A very tax efficient (for her) way of taking money out of the club without affecting our cash flow or ability to take any kind of finance deemed sensible....there are many reasons for not using your own money with the guarantees offered by the PL payment.

Norwegian...? And Mane got the same treatment on here as Boufal and Redmond when he first came....? If JWP played for someone else we'd be coveting him...
-
For Lovren I offer you two for one in Stephens and Yoshida and for Toby well....'We've got .....' Still hoping that Liverpool feel reamed over Lovren :-)

Horrendous...and that international right back that went to Liverpool...how could we ever get an international replacement that was any good?!

Nicola Cortese wants to return to English footie

Very much this....! He did what was needed but it was with someone else's money - a good risk taken by Markus and eventually benefiting Katherina as well as the club. That job done...and done very well... he was no longer fit for purpose in the PL and was impaled on the same sword that he gave Nigel - now needs to bring a sheik or oligarch to be useful again ;-) -
BBC end of term report... Solid if unspectacular from the Saints, although deservedly reached Wembley and were on the rough end of poor decisions when losing to Manchester United in the EFL Cup final. Manager Claude Puel was a low-key figure and occasionally unconvincing but forward Manolo Gabbiadini looks a good signing. Can they keep defender Virgil van Dijk? And will Puel even stay? Can they realistically expect to be doing better? McNulty's pre-season prediction: 12th What he said: "Expect another solid season but not another top six." Managerial mark: Claude Puel - 6/10 Stat: Southampton have the second-youngest starting XIs in the league behind Tottenham, with an average of 26 years 169 days old Sounds a lot more balanced a look than some of the rabids on here...I do think it will be difficult for him to stay on now as the crowd have turned against him but this is no Branfoot situation (and I did want him out) ...ambition is fine for the club but some of our 'support' do seem to have a warped sense of entitlement that we should do better than 8th and a Cup final. Also a lack of appreciation of the difficulties in losing key players for long periods. Bring on next season - I'd be happy, but now, surprised, if we start it with Puel.

Boos, slow hand claps.....we're top half in the PL and have been to Wembley FFS!!!
-
I've enjoyed this season, I've been to Wembley, I've seen European football, I've seen us compete with the best teams in the UK and beyond....I have enjoyed most of the football we've played..which, football-wise, is pretty much how it has been for the last 55+ years that I've followed Saints. Negatives...well you can look for loads but I'm a realist - I have been a Saints fan far too long to have a ludicrous sense of entitlement but I have to say that the pulled-pork roll from the concourse under Block 39 was disgusting but I'll try not to let it spoil my season or start a thread about it. Renewed my season ticket? Of course!

That's a good bite...factor in the 'achievement' of the EFL final and he has over-achieved! Not aimed at you Useful Idiot but this forum has some weird, weird 'supporters'.

Good news...was a fair bit of confusion half way down 39 where I am....resident steward said afterwards that he had fainted but good to hear he's ok.
-
This...apart from the bit about looking good in a suit.

Lots of clubs have good managers......including us! Puel deserves another season, most of the others suggested have no better records in the PL than he has - we don't have to copy Watford ;-)
-
Is this being streamed anywhere please?
-
We have learned nothing if we get rid of him now - he has managed a team bereft of his best defender, his best goalscorer and an assortment of shorter term injuries to influential players. I know this is part and parcel of management but he has produced a team that has played attractive football, reached a Wembley final and can still finish top half of the PL. To me he deserves a full season and, without Europe (sadly) or the European Championship depriving him of a preseason he will have a chance to impose his will still further.
-
Has he actually made an offer? Lot of waffle and a bit of PR, few stipulations etc but surely the more you know the less attractive it becomes? Introduce him to the potential heritage board...and let him be downwind of TCWTB and he'll be off like a road runner :-)

I went there some years ago on a windsurfing trip and I can endorse what Kingsland Red has said. Beaches and watersports venues are beautiful...would like to have explored more.

I'd like to airbrush the twunt out of our history...he was the worst thing about our demise and his presence left a sh*tty smear on our history. If they added that he left Wham and QPR about to be relegated his relegations would probably outnumber promotions....nobody (here anyway) counts the stolen cup as an achievement. I hope the Brummoys crash and burn and chase the slimy crook out of their city! Odious cretin ptah!!
