  1. Well summed up, all of these are relevant and pretty much characterise how quickly we have needed to climb the learning curve against pretty much the hardest combination of matches that we are likely to have this season.
  2. I'm gratified that someone can, thank you
  3. I really hope we don't get it...sacrilege to play thigh-groping hand ball on the hallowed turf with a bunch of ra-ra public schoolboys polluting the hallowed seats.....
  4. Beat me to it!
  5. I agree 100% - aside from the fact that he has done more than enough in his own right to earn the respect you advocate but surely we should have learned the lesson of the likely outcome of a merry go round of managers.
  6. Still if Roy goes there then they'll be able to re-use the chants and recycle the banners
  7. It's called adding to the information available - not everyone has Saints Player...but thank you for making me aware with your last bit
  8. Definitely in the Ricky interview pics - just checked again.
  9. Pretty sure I saw him in the training pictures
  10. Top bloke....my senile mind can't remember who he had the run in with on the touchline a few seasons back. only that they looked worried... Help anyone, can't even remember who we were playing!
  11. :d:d
  12. Retrospective predictors of doom...there's clever now...where are the facepalms when you need them?!
  13. Little Bobby Stokes on May 1st 1976 Every time I see Saints appear out of the tunnel Watching Adam Lallana's goal against Coventry go in last year and knowing that we were up Final whistle at Wembley JPT - was with my lad and that was the first thing he'd seen Saints win Matt's final goal at The Dell Marian's goal against the Skates Stevie Moran's goal at Fatpipes Park Open top bus footage from May 2nd 1976 Many more! I get a lot of goosebumps!!
  14. Girth?
  15. Think you were conned...it wasn't released until 2007!
  16. On the bright side isn't it just wunnerful how one p*ss-poor journalist's sorry saga is another group's 1500 odd pages of mirth, schadenfreude and retribution?
  17. I agree - those two passes were inch and pace perfect...so much more than just a 'big target man'!
  18. I'm guessing she's a little stretched at the moment.. Congratulations to Adam and Emily...my first grandchild due in December will hopefully have the privilege of watching Arthur's Saints debut :)
  19. We clueless c*nts agree from time to time...didn't see MOTD last week - I'm offended by the visage of Saggy the twitch (and I was celebrating)
  20. Your quote... why do people get so offended when comparing lambert to Holt.. 'holt was brilliant for norwich last season..and if lambert does equally as good I will be ecstatic' Which perceptive bit of skill analysis did I miss? Quote Delldays... 'your summing of holt is equally as lazy as the article itself' And yours? For the record I'm not offended by comparisons but as I said in my 'deep analysis' Lambert has better touch and a better eye for a pass than Holt...Holt scored a couple of beauties last year but his overall contribution to Norwich's play is nowhere near as as comprehensive as Lambert's is to ours because he lacks the qualities above..
  21. Not anywhere near the level of Ricky - I have the dubious delight of living close to Norwich and even the wurzels agree that his control and distribution don't come close. On the 'big, old fashioned centre-forward' front they're comparable but RL has much more to his game.
  22. Because Lambert has all the attributes that Holt has - + skill.
  23. Is this a hint that you have a pair of Mister Bates glasses perchance?
  24. 20+ With many more assists than the average goalscorer. I live near Norwich and I tell them Lambert is like Holt but with skill...
  25. Good analogy! More in keeping with the serial, habitual and self-serving nature of their offences (although Trousers' rabid dog has a resonance too).
