Every so often you elicit a reply from me with your tedious negativity...why do you purport to support Saints - you surely cannot get any pleasure from the experience and your bleating just detracts from the quality of so many threads...to borrow your word - WHY? And - because it's a match thead - good to see Lloyd Isgrove come on, he has looked a good prospect when I've seem him in the development squad. Good to see the squad being used and the youngsters being blooded. Still think we'll win this, a goal will boost their confidence to go on and win.

Radio Skate??!! 1 - It's October 2- We're not way adrift 3- We should have learned what happens when we go the multi-manager route 4- NA appears to have the dressing room support...how badly would it affect morale if the 'together as one' ethos that has brought us through successive promotions is disrupted? 5-We are not playing badly...still adjusting in my opinion to new players, new pace of game - we're not alone in that but we're better than most others in this position. Not shooting the messenger - just pointing out that it's about opinions and knee jerk responses rarely being the right ones. I think a specialist defensive coach could be a good addition - to talk replacement at this stage of settling in to the new league would be plain daft.

Hired one once...that will be the once! Agree about gutless (think it was 2lt or 2.2) - agree about imprecise handling and wandering ride. If I recall it had done 1800 miles and I put another 700 on...really didn't like it much - not a patch on the Mondeo or the Passat which I thought I was getting. I'm not anti-Vauxhall, had a Carlton and an Omega but they were fine.

Fox is adapting, maybe slowly, to the PL pace and has looked exposed at times...enough has been said on othere threads about the covering fom in front of him but he brings a sweet left foot and an accurate long and corner delivery to our play. I'm not saying that we shouldn't look for quality cover to strengthen the squad but he has been nowhere near as bad as some have painted him..in my opinion.
