  1. Yes, I married one too:?
  2. Soft enough for wiping your a*se?
  3. Yep, our free-scoring massively PL experienced forward line would bear out your point totally....
  4. Just as well you're here to put us right eh...?
  5. It's not about 'daring' - you just seemed to have been watching a different set of games to me (I can't speak for anyone else) - He does win headers, he does look bothered and has a good shots to scoring ratio. I'm not out for insulting anyone's opinion but you are sure which one Ricky Lambert is? Biggish fella, number 7 on his shirt...class act?
  6. Noddy Holder's is one of the classic rock voices...much influenced by John Lennon if you read his biographic stuff. They were amongst the best of their era...saw them at West Runton Pavillion with Mud and someone trashy like Greyhound, fun days!
  7. A well thought through OP and I concur with a lot of it but I don't think that the defence getting to know and understand each other's style should be under-estimated. Shaw has, I'd imagine, exceeded all expectations - certainly mine and who would have thought that JP would have proved the revelation that he has within this run? I'm glad that the board didn't go the knee-jerk route and kept faith and patience - certainly there are areas that need more quality in depth to cover but I'm massively encouraged by the quality of the youngsters coming through...the future's bright! :-)
  8. Fair enough though...apparently the calendar only goes up to January 15th...
  9. RIP Ian Black..can remember reading his name in the ten years ago, twenty years ago bits in the pink sports Echo in my youth.
  10. Happy for you both...
  11. :D Started beautifully one time in ten...
  12. Source? I know Ottery is well connected but I'd be happy to hear why you're so definite about this? I also believe his value to the way that we play is born out of the understandings that have developed and grown through our journey through the leagues and you can't replace that at a stroke...no matter how much you spend. In my opinion West Ham is not a step up for him anyway...unless he wants cheap porn and a chance to play at the Olympic stadium..
  13. Around £30 for Premier League football feels fair to me...£43 to Liverpool felt like being stung - although possibly that's a result of the conditioning that's inherent in our climb up the league.
  14. That in itself would be a novelty! Serious point though - to knowingly be trading insolvently is against the law..I'm not sure how being in administration may affect that but surely the tax must be the responsibility of the administrator? If the new debt is incurred on his watch then surely this, and all other debts that are incurred, must be down to PKF? I'm not sure how the 'bridging' loan from HNW is covered under the definition of debt at a time when even the RBS wouldn't lend them money? Anyone been to P*mpey onmeltdown to see how the plucky ones are bearing up...looking forward to the attendance figure!! Shalala-lala-lala etc:D
  15. Poetry... He is secured....he will get his money!
  16. Happy for them all - a great result!
  17. Strange thread for me to post on as I'm usually the one asking both stupid and basic questions...that won't change! Reason for posting is that after reading and asking for info on a new 'Smart' phone and not really wanting an iphone I elected to try the Nokia Lumia 610...two reasons - I've always had Nokia and have learnt their 'logic' and two - I've used Windows as an operating system in my own limited way for all my, limited, computer life. For me being a phone was the most important thing so I went to the lower end of the range...company was paying so it wasn't a finance-driven choice. I've got to say that so far I'm pretty pleased...the menus are logical, the options are easily accessible and when I use the 'computer' aspect (mostly when travelling when the laptop is stowed) it's been fine...does what it's supposed to with out fuss. The camera seems ok (mostly used at St Mary's) so all ok so far. Things I've struggled with...and please accept that I'm pretty stupid with technology....I can't seem to find many 'apps' that say they work on the Windows system...there may be ways of adapting either Apple, Android or whatever the other ones are but the phone has most things I need so not a major issue. I'd quite like the stolen 'come and find me' thing but couldn't find one that said it worked with this system. Not much else to moan about...I bought a case and will probably buy a screen plastic protector thing as it seems a little vulnerable. Previous clever phones have all been communicators..N90, E90, N900, E70 etc and I do miss the keyboards but the functions and processes seem much simpler on this so I'm guessing that what I'm saying is that if you were born to be low tech as I apparently was then it's a pretty user-friendly and functional package...I love the way that they've simplified all the bluetooth connecting and directory transferring. I hope this is useful to anyone who, like me, stands in awe of some of the know-how posted here. Thanks for those who have helped arrive at this decision....someone advised me a couple of years back that the N900 was way too complicated for what I wanted and he was absolutely right and I learnt the lesson...via ignoring it so thanks for trying!
  18. These (BMW One and Three Series)would suit the image that you project on here perfectly...now the motoring world can have prior warning!
  19. It has to be said that you do come over as a bit of a pr ick on the subject...not a general observation on your postings but dead horses really should not be flogged.
  20. Yes, you complete co ck...if you've gone along to a drink-driving stadium to support you favourite drink-driving team. Jeezus, I don't often resort to personal abuse but there's no other fitting response!
  21. This Also the attitude that you've paid your money therefore are entitled to boo makes you a customer not a supporter...and not a very bright one at that!
  22. Was in Block 1 today so was as close as anyone and they were very average...chose to turn their back on the Northam and out-sing the Itchen...not too difficult but all they had to offer was a fairly quiet 'Campiones' chant which the (usually quiet) Itchen took exception to with a 'We are Southampton we don't give a fu ck'...shut them up every time. On the pitch Reading worked hard, physical, not a lot of flair...failed miserably to bully Shaw or anybody really. Thought their central defenders were robust, Rodrigues got pushed about a bit but kept coming back for more. Punch scared the shiit out of them and we were really better than them than the scoreline suggests. I agree the last ten minutes were nervous because we're Saints....not because they actually troubled us a great deal - I actually felt pretty confident in our ability to stop them and keep posession and we did that well enough to kill off the final injury time minutes. I know which team I think stands the better chance...give them their due they give everything but so did we...with that added ingredient of genuine class beginning to show through.
  23. This...I'd allow a polite ten minutes and then move it telling the barman that I was concerned at left baggage, could he see to it
