One hundred and eighteeeeeeeee! Points well made and entirely valid - the entertainment value of this thread, however named, will (happily)sustain for years, as Rallyboy says, don't like it, don't read it - it works for me.

Serie A to Premiership - success stories?
dronskisaint replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Or one from a supporter? Look it up skate -
Does the first part not apply to both of you?

Contrition is difficult huh?

Ah the good old days of 50k posts back in time....even now that they're all fan-owned(!) and staying within their budget(!) it would surely be impossible for the corpulent whore to revisit these pages given the sh*t he's swallowed and regurgitated...Mack aside the quality of skate has diminished and the most ignorant have been exposed too much for a return. Sad from the point of our amusement only...

Simple signings summary last two seasons
dronskisaint replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
This is another public service warning... You need help skatey...it's not healthy to hang around intelligent people on a board that is not of your own persuasion plugging desperate, negative and barely literate threads. Run along back to POL and live amongst your own, you'll be happier amongst your own kind, it's for the best really....there's a good skate! -
Simple signings summary last two seasons

Should this thread not have 'Perpetrated by a dull-witted skate troll' warning just in case the players do log on here...and also serve to warn off intelligent potential readers? I post this purely as a public service warning -
Bald and Primark the future??!!

Feature piece on Saints tomorrow from 6pm on Sky Sports News

So did anyone see this or did it not happen after all the thin-skinned hand wringing over the embarrassment? -
Why do some posters revel in players/managers doing badly?
dronskisaint replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
Nah...there's a f*ckwit oop North who's constantly (but not in a mentally ill way like Alpine) being negative but he's a skate on the WUM so doesn't count. -
You missed the chance to sing (or even ask if) he sh*gged Julie Phillips? Chapel Ender at best!
-
I didn't know him but my sympathies go to his family and friends from another Saints fan...
-
He'd probably take that as a condiment...

This!

Fluck no...why would anyone read that??!! I reserve the right to be offended by a posh pr*t talking ****** about my club though.

His brother Terry was a better singer though although he did have his seasons in the sun... Don't try and work it out if you're under forty

Jeez... Matt and a few of his friends hold a tribute night...it could have been called Matt's dazzling career - any questions? A great night was had by those who attended, hopefully those who put it on didn't lose money (!) and everyone went away happy. Two jesting references to NC all evening and chuckled at by stage and audience and a wonderful wander through some magical Saints stuff. Someone suggests (without any accreditation) that current players may have been prevented from doing a tribute and it turns a thread about our most skilful and loyal player's evenining in to a ***** fight! I have zero idea if it's true and without any kind of supporting information I tend to think it's probably 'unsubstantiable' to be kindest... NC is running a good business it seems, that business happens to be the club that I've supported since the age of 5 and they're playing great football and doing well. Matt deserves his God status for almost single-handedly keeping us up on many occasions...they'll both be looked back at as having done great things in different ways and eras - the rest is irrelevant...particularly on a thread about lauding MLG!

I was sure he said Saville too....I know the quote was from Tarbuck originally :-) Brilliant night as others have said - thought it was well compered, respectful but always with self-effacing humour and outright p*ss taking and the chance to see those goals on a cinema size screen was special too. The other comedian reference that I missed the name of was the one who quipped that Matt was the only PL player to put weight on during a game :-) All in all a great night - we who saw him throughout his career are privileged people, very privileged!

Good summary

Went to the Echo greatest player tribute shjow (Mike Osman hosting) and thoroughly enjoyed it - got my tickets a long time back for this, hoping it's as good but happy to re-live the memories along with the great man whatever.

For future transfer activity, lets avoid Serie A...
dronskisaint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
No, the goal scoring was incidental... -
I agree with your reasoning but the most pertinent bit of of this is that 'such a claim is ...without any proof' and should be seen as such.
