  1. As they did all along this summer?
  2. More a 50/50 guess than a theory I suspect but you'll either be right or wrong Getting tense about this one...wanted to win against the Judai almost too much last week but this would be beautiful karma to get three points from.
  3. Electrifying!
  4. Be nice if he displaced Osvaldo...pure karma!
  5. Confused...did you upgrade the new Nokia to the one in your 2nd post or do you still have it?
  6. This to Le Goddard's song :-)
  7. Or.....how unlucky can two blokes get?
  8. In my era I've got to agree with the three mentioned...and Denis was the hardest of the three. I have an affection for Terry Hurlock too...didn't understand the principle of taking prisoners too well!
  9. A point well analogised!
  10. He'll always be welcomed back and that's quite a statement given some recent departures.. Thank Jos - massive part of the promotion story, I enjoyed you being a Saint as much as you seemed to enjoy being one
  11. Was listening to local radio and his 'principled gamble' sounded more like 'I'm going to lose this to UKIP...if you can't beat them etc' from both local parties. I think each will get what they deserve from this.
  12. It's a novel thing for a drowning rat to leave a sinking ship to land on a bandwagon...:-
  13. I only said it was proportionate - you were bemoaning the quantity
  14. For what it's worth I think the board, manager and the scouting team have done extraordinarily well given the starting point...I could have a whole debate on the players' agents role in all this. I like that our business was just that, our business..I liked it when Cortese adopted the 'Nothing announced until done deal' approach and I'm happy the board continue with it. It's not easy given the agents and media driving their own agendas but we came out of it well, I think. I look forward to seeing this talented group moulded in to the team that our previous one genuinely was - there was a genuine bond forged through promotions, establishing ourselves as worthy PL tenants and surviving through managerial changes. This is now RK's test...if we get the same spirit going we'll be comfortable top ten and with ambition. Good times continue...thanks Markus!
  15. To add balance to your statement the abuse you do get is proportional to the amount of b*ll*cks you post....
  16. Yeah - I thought that and then thought fluck it, I wouldn't sleep anyway - sad tw*t that I am!
  17. Me too...still, he can't play against us and still ours. Nuckfows why 'Ull though...****hole of a place!
  18. This is what it's about!
  19. He's played far better than Johnson for many months now - hope he does get what he deserves despite the risks.
  20. Although he was literate enough to say 'backward'
  21. I (a self-declared computer disaster zone) was convinced for all the right reasons to go for a Mac after my entire computer life experience being on Microsoft...bought a Macbook Air which is a brilliant piece of engineering. Windows were also discontinuing support for XP on my 5 year old Lenovo so it needed to be upgraded. So - am I happy? Well...about 4 months in I went out and bought a Toshiba with Windows 7 installed - I kept the Mac, it's great for portability, ok for emails and everyday stuff but I could not get my head around the differences in Pages, Numbers etc...get Windows for Mac I was advised (my brother is a professor of computer science but is also very nerdy-practical and hands-on) but it was a dogs breakfast..for me...I'm lucky I could run to the two but I'd take a look at whether, fine bit of kit that it is, it's actually right for you. I guess your experience is the reverse of mine but I find the football streams etc are far more microsoft-friendly! Ten penn'orth from a computer eejit!
  22. It's for the comedy value that it continues to exist...the day I stop laughing at them will be the day I breathe my last breath. Bashing them...yep, good by product and again cause for mirth. I wish I had a pound for every time I've laughed out loud at something on this thread - come to think of it it would have made their begging bucket heavier if they had that amount.
  23. I understand the preference for believing those that you know whether on a board or not but it's not really credible to post it as 'fact' when that can't be proven - that would be my issue with egg's post and others of a similar nature. I love a rumour as much as anyone but so many turn out to be complete fabrication that it's hardly surprising that the credibility is questionable, hence it's entirely legitimate to ask for a source...isn't it?
