Different perspectives maybe but I thought the 'One Ronald Koeman' early on got the message through that the crowd were behind him and the team and it just got better thereafter. Loved the 'One crutch, he's only got one crutch...' Need a loud song for Sadio though...I get the feeling he doesn't feel as appreciated as those with songs - and I hope I still want this on Tuesday evening!

I live not far from Norwich so do the travel thing for home games...three and a half hours today, usually around 4...not a difficult trip. From Block 39 we got the odd rendering of 'Yellow' penetrate the atmosphere but thought they were quiet...thought we were pretty good from the start today in getting behind the team - a stark contrast to the keyboard bedwetters concept of how to be after a disappointing defeat!

Not even opened it but it reeks of skate with time on their hands..

Great post - I took my lad to his first game in the last season that standing was allowed at The Dell...he'd already been got at by the glory-followers at school and while he loved going (In the car on the way up the M3 'Dad, what's a w*nker?'...'Ask your mother son, I'm driving!' :-)) to the match it was not until he had left school (we live 200 miles away) that he realised the plasticity of his affiliation and now, 11 years later completely feels it as you describe! He now has a son, my first grandchild whose first garment was a babygro from the Saints shop - he is getting no choice, dad and granddad ensuring it!! :-) My message to all.....they get there in the end...peer pressure is hard at school but Saints blood runs deep!

Pelle is too integral to our options to sell...really looking forward to seeing him with Jayrod's running and ability to run on to his flick-ons. I think you'll find their entire pre-season all on standard bus routes...they'll be trying the 'Honest I'm only 15' trick to make sure there's enough to pay for refills to champagne Ian's glass!
