Stoke assistant manager....says it all. ITV coverage is sh*te though

This must be wrong - only 4000 ST sold according to this site?

He won't be singing alone -
Or when he stands downwind of them....large and unwashediest, tombstone toothlessest and above all delusionalestest of all!

No 'nailed-on-RB' = healthy competition between two viable options, surely? Soares stock has soared (!) during this competition. Always going to be stories but we need to strengthen the Mane/Juanmi positions plus a big Vic back up more than the ones you mention I'd suggest.

Sad news...will always be remembered for the George Best interview...very funny woman with an original slant on life.

I echo the thoughts of the OP...great to see his enthusiasm and he's obviously well thought of throughout the game...joining Rafa maybe? Good luck and thanks!

Ah some activity...I miss the mockery, wit and humour that this thread supplies :-) Heard Lalkovic on the radio as I drove down M27...script was in front of him....he could have stayed in L1, he had offers....I love this thread :-)

For me it's thanks Sadio...I've enjoyed what you brought to the team and wish we could have kept you - thought you'd go to one of the big European teams rather than stepping down ours but good luck except, of course, when we play the unimaginative, bin-dipping ****s you've joined! Bitter...nah...pint of lager for me! -
Nathan Redmond Joins on 5 Year Deal - Official
dronskisaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I live surrounded by Norwich supporters, the general opinion is that he was their most skilful player but didn't always look like he was giving it his all...they also questioned whether Neal, (sp?) knew how best to use him...inexperienced manager/developing player in a high pressure situation? Given that we're renowned for checking character, background etc I'd imagine that our scouting team have seen plenty enough to think that we can be the club that gives him the platform to kick on - he's been an U21 constant right on through so there have been opportunities to observe him outside the 'struggling club' scenario. He reminds me a bit of Zaha, who went to a different kind of 'wrong' club and that held up his progress and is only now showing that he can be the player expected...I trust we can be the club where that happens for Redmond - I remember we wanted him before he went to Norwich so it's, assumedly, not dampened our interest. Welcome Nathan Redmond! -
Don't you go talking sense now...remember where you are!

1) He appoints the guys who get results so hardly riding on their backs 2)You can't, surely, put his ability to appoint managers each one a progression on the former down to luck??? 3)The job Reed is employed to do is to further the 'Southampton Way'.....whether through a good crop from the Academy or by purchasing...how can that tap run dry? 4)We don't know if Puel is coming, we do know that Pellegrini isn't but we don't know why....or do you have that information? 5) His record is good...at some stage one of his appointments won't be as good as the others...I hope, if that is the case, that he gets a chance to rectify it - his record deserves it. I don't mean this as a personal attack, only that I think that your assumptions are unduly negative given the information there...and that Les Reed should be allowed to stand on his record with us that's near faultless in terms of year on year progression.

Your credibility just evaporated

Pick your coat up on the way out...?

Part of the team that was so much a part of my youth - condolences to family and friends and thanks for the memories.

Applause emoticon thingy! (they are covered in guano too which is equally appropriate!)

If Carlsberg did testimonials....this would be the template. Only wish St Mary's had been full but that was a very respectable crowd. Lots of laughter, appreciation and the fully deserved adulation for Ricky, Tiss and, of course, SKD - some pretty football too with just enough effort and application for a friendly. Chants I've not seen mentioned yet ' He turned down the skates' to Dan Harding who waved and laughed and the 'Staying down.......P*mpey's staying down with no money in the bank' and although mentioned..the '**** Ricky Lambert' and Adkins' 'Sacked in the morning' were just pure gold! Loved Jaidhi's twist and turn and Graziano holding Jose at corners - a real feel good evening, really glad I went! Great club, great players and a chance to thank some of those who moved on as we progressed - well done SKD, well done SFC!!

David Bull's interview with Rickie Lambert and others

Thanks for sharing this - it's nice to know that the image I've always had of these guys being genuine and genuinely nice from their public personas is true in reality. :DI've been a Saints supporter for 50 odd years and I've never felt better about the club and the direction it's heading...but I've been a Saints supporter for 50 odd years...... -
It's ok, it's only Saints supporters who need to care Do one fish-fondler..

If one improvement could be made to the ground
dronskisaint replied to ladysaint's topic in The Saints
I thought that was a bit of an odd set-up...their away fans area is in the same place as ours essentially but there are kids and families where the 'Northam' is with all their noise coming from the 'Itchen' part. Much as I hate them those artificial clapper things made a lot of noise too.... -
James Ward-Prowse signs new six-year deal with Saints
dronskisaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Once again very happy...ok he didn't develop at Luke Shaw pace but he's captained England at all his levels so far and has many admirers within the game - really pleased he has committed and look forward to us seeing his best come through over the next few years! -

I'm a little in love with Kenzie but the one improvement, seriously, would be to put the away supporters in the Chapel...heard all the arguments but it would improve the home support atmosphere no end (and it's not bad as it is before we go down that one!). -
Yes because that happened before didn't it?
-
Didn't want to put the camera up on Fatpipes gantry...? If it didn't fall through the rotting ironwork I guess it would be nicked...or maybe both! Championship standard rust....

Actually think that the atmosphere in the last game with City was the best of the season after being good against the barcodes and brilliant (eventually) against Liverpool but agree we need to be at our best. Palace are noisy and the last game of the season is usually a bit 'end of term' so the potential is there for a great day.
