  1. It's worth a pound a month to me but easier to round down to £10 - If I ever don't think I want to renew then I can do the other thing. I think it's good value...it doesn't stop me from going to the other sites but I generally find the level of knowledge, humour & intellect higher on here....it does however seem to attract the negativos (you know who you are!) & it's got to be worth £10 to them to vent their gloom!
  2. No - you were not the registered owner during that period
  3. Brian O'Neil...great favourite of mine at the time. Perfected the art of launching the two-footed tackle from anywhere within about a ten yard radius....and with his socks rolled down to his ankles. Shin pads were for girls in those days - he also wore his shirt down over his shorts too - snappy dresser. I also remember him scoring a couple of beauties at the Baseball Ground so was not lacking in skill. I agree he was a victim of his own reputation but he had worked hard to earn it!
  4. Yes it has a chain...I'm in lurve with my new (to me) car!
  5. This is still the most active & the most varied of all those I dip in to. I discovered this & a few others when we were in crisis last year & this one has consistently been the highest quality & has had me laughing out loud on occasions, has inspired me to abusive disbelief at some of the negativity, given me information on all things from away ground information to which phone to choose. In summary - a forum. It does what it says on the tin.
  6. W*nker!...Keep deluding yourself as your sad act club haemorrhages money by the day & points by the game. My money is still on liquidation &/or BSP
  7. Forget your moan About the moaners...I think your title choice could well prove to be right. The more I find out about the guy the more I like what I hear. Another Clough....he saaid with a broad (but slightly hopeful) grin!
  8. Intelligent appointment....welcome Nigel - take us up & you'll become a legend...take us up twice in succession & you'll attain Sainthood! Let's get on with the season now -COYR&WS
  9. It depends how long he gets put away for I guess...I heard that he said he couldn't look further ahead than next week....fraud squad date perhaps?
  10. Speech impediment...he meant Right Rich!
  11. Thank you - saw one advertised on A6 and hadn't thought it was right but glad it is.
  12. Poetry....maybe what goes round is starting to come around after all the loopholes, dispensations....keep kicking that corpse!
  13. Please nicely can anyone tell me if the V6 Audi diesel (as in the A6/A8) has a cambelt or a chain? Thank you:)
  14. Which would be ok if all your threads weren't negative & doom laden...no sense of balance there I note (& there's no h after the c in sycophantic) He's gone - ffs draw a line in the sand
  15. No - and again - No!
  16. Thanks to all...will confirm the Nokia order tomorrow. Just wanted to be sure that I wasn't missing something that was so space age I'd have regretted it for a year!
  17. ...And you need to get your car looked at - it took me four hours from Great Yarmouth & I go through Royston!
  18. Fat bloke darn the pub says that his mate's sister's cousin's brother in law's dog's first owner's caravan site landlord's uncle told me the same rumours Skate crap is the only excuse....
  19. Again thanks - I'm leaning towards my Nokia comfort zone...how do you find the phone for both it's call clarity & holding on to signal? Cheers
  20. Excellent feed - thanks!!
  21. I understand what you're saying & you're absolutely right - I just like having the back up should something happen to the laptop while I'm travelling...likewise the GPS - I have a good one but it's nice to use the phone one in city centres & have a back up option. I have big hands too so prefer a physically larger phone...I get cramp trying to text on little pads. I still have an old E90..that was ideal but a little slow against the newer ones....6310i was also a favourite. Thanks - all input is much appreciated
  22. Apologies for boringly similar question to many others but.... I've nearly always had Nokia...it has always seemed too much like hard work to learn new menus...I've got on well with all of them pretty much, loved the E90, now have the N97 which is ok but my provider (I buy for a small company running delivery vans around the UK but this is mine) suggests a Blackberry Torch rather than the N900 that I had wanted but was unavailable when I got the N97. They have both in stock so, I think, are not trying to palm me off with anything for that reason. Any input, experiences would be gratefully received. I am that old fart that doesn't like to change unless there's a good reason but I'm open minded if there are advantages. For background I have a neat little Lenovo laptop that does most of my email requirements so email is not a prime driver in this. I travel for business in Europe & the US quite a bit & use the phone & text functions more than other stuff. Thanks in anticipation
  23. The gift that keeps on giving...please let him be the one for them......
  24. Deppo this will make you a fan of the month of October
  25. +1 - who cares indeed
