  1. I agree with the ash cloud reason. It was an end of season friendly... May be he has important wor commitments at home next week and does not want to risk being stuck over here.. Pointless gossip and **** stirring.. Why can't some of you so called fans just be happy with what we have and stop looking for the next problem.
  2. Didn't they do a mint whispa bar years ago!! That gets my vote or dairy milk fruit and nut.
  3. Or maybe they were doing their jobs.. Stupid thread
  4. Jp never had a chance here. Could have been a good manager but was here at the wrong time. Nice bloke too!! So good luck to him.. When he was appointed to his current job I sent message to him via his new club wishing him well.. So I am well pleased for him
  5. Thanks Norwaysaint I'm edging that way as I work 6 nights and do a bit on my day off. So really don't get the quality time with the kids.. Might hang on a few weeks and renew the kids and my season tickets... At least they are paid then
  6. As the title asks, are there any stay at home dads on here, my misses wants me to give up work and look after the kids. Its something I would love to do, as I dont get enough quality time with my kids. However I have a few concerns. so if so a couple of questions 1. are you glad you did it 2. how were/finances 3. would you recommend it 4. did it affect the relationship. thanks in advance for for thoughts.
  7. Seem to rememebr people thinking 32k was far to big for us..
  8. Rubbish if we had 40k in the prem we would sell out most weeks unless prices were silly. Agree spurs and everton would get more with larger grounds but they don't have larger grounds at the mo.. And I know we only have 32k but we have potential for a fair few more
  9. I would say that with a few thousand extra seats we could get around 40 thousand most weeks In the prem.. No reason we can't be up with villa spurs and everton ..def a top 8 team
  10. I agree. We had no debts to pay.. A few more high wage earners left the club. We would have budgeted for around 13k fans and first round cup defeats.. so with all this taken in to account and new owners and CEO business sense I would suggest we have broke even this yr or made a very slight loss.
  11. You don't have to like the player off the field.. Just support them for 90 minutes on the pitch.
  12. i always liked bournemouth, little team a bit like a cute pet i suppose.. was not until i worked with a cherries season ticket holder that i realised how much they hate us!! so next season should be fun. well done to them and i hope they have a good season in league 1 .
  13. thanks thats quite helpful, have used calculator and because household gross income is over 2673 a month legal aid seems to be a no go, seems a bit strange as i am debt free but have little spare income each month, as almost a quarter of my wages go to my ex for the up keep of the kids we had (happy to pay that as they are my responsiblity).. so might be worth changing jobs to qualify i guess. did i not read years ago robert maxwells sons received legal aid? how on earth did they manage that? or have the rules since changed
  14. Any of you clever people know much about legal aid, I have a civil matter I would like to take further but not sure if I would get any help with costs!
  15. speaking to a skate mate today he seemed convinced they would clear all debts for about 38mil, does this seem like a true figure ?
  16. Not sure if anyone else agrees but I thought semi was poor second half.. I lost count of the number of times he had his back to the ball, preventing wuic passes free kicks etc. He really did not look too interested or up for it second half... Surely it's the first thing your taught as a footballer 'face the bloody ball'
  17. agreed. first thing i did when my boys became interested in football was bring out the old video player and make them watch le tis... reinforced this with all the you tube bits i could find
  18. starting to get a feeling that we will get into the playoffs for the first time this season in the 91st minute of the last game!!! hows that for leaving it late..... any way if it happens 'i told u so'
  19. ok i stand corrected on that, but still wanted the pre match bit.. never mind plenty more trophys to come in the next decade or so... so maybe next ones will be better

    Charlton

leeds should beat them, oldham and exeter very tough away games, have posted else where that we can catch them. If we are in touching distance of them or huddersfield by the time we play southend then I think they will bottle it.. So bloody proud of saints... how far have we come in less than a year... and if we dont go up this year..... then lets fill the stadium next season, walk the league and have another jpt final.
  21. it is sky commentary
  22. Post match celebrations are on there not seen that bit yet. DVD only 100 minutes long so not a lot post match .. For me it was about the whole day not just the 90 mins.. Would have liked DVD to reflect that
  23. Plus factor in we did not have a team or a pre season . And it took us 9/10 games to get started... So we gave every one a 9 game and ten point head start... Bloody cracking effort to get this close to playoffs

    Jpt Dvd

Watching it now and a tad disapointed that it's just the game, would have loved a bit of the build up and pre game..
  25. fecking come on!!! it aint over people i promise u... charlton will lose 2 out of 3, so we may catch em, huddersfield still need a few points..
