I think we will stay up baring some serious bad luck with injuries. I also think the lack of transfer activity in jan for us is not a bad thing. We were sensible by spending most of the seasons tranfer budget in August (giving us players for a whole season rather than last 14 games, to top up a squad which had many players from league 1 not too long ago) and I guess the BVI loan was purely for the purpose of spending the seasons budget in August. We now have a settled squad in decent form and should not be too hard to finish above Wigan, Villa, Reading and I still dont think QPR will make up the points on us.

And i gave my reasons for my atitude towards adkins so maybe leave the thread policing to others.

Dont like to say but can we really give adkins more time? if we lose next 2 or 3 or even more before a change is made then it could be too late. I accept this may not be adkins doing with 433 and transfer policy but his job is dependant on results and we are not getting them. If things dont change soon then any new manager coming in will struggle to sign the playere he wants in january as no one of any real quality will want to come to a club certain to go down. Kelvin has always been a big dodgy, some very good saves but always likely to cost us a goal. Watched him play for pompey u14's v Eastleigh u14's last season. He didnt stand out. Quick but nothing special. Pompey were crap and lost 1-0 .
