Just a rumour, but apparently Darren Fergusen has had a request to speak to us accepted after we enquired (with a decent sum of money) about his availability. Speaking to us today or tomorrow if the story is to be believed. Not sure on the reliability though as I haven't had any ITK Saints news off this person before. The fact he's just signed a 4 year contract would make me hesitate in believing this however the pay off we've initially offered (not accepted yet by Posh) is a considerable ammount which could be close to paying off that contract.

a) New Manager? Steve Coppell b) His assistant? Kevin Dillon and Wally Downes c) Five realistic players? Alan Bennett, Leroy Lita, Ricky Lambert, David Prutton, Richard Eckersley (Loan) d) A job for MLT? Club Ambassador e) One ground improvement? Re-open the corners. f) One catering improvement? Invite local companies to sell local produce in the concourses instead of overpriced crap. g) New half time entertainment? A man dressed as a duck runs around the centre circle. 3 randomly selected season ticket holders have 1 minute each to fire as many balls at the duck from an oversized 'gun' that works similar to a tennis ball launcher. One point is awarded for every ball that hits the duck and 3 for every ball that hits the duck off his feet. The winning season ticket holder recieves a free season ticket for the following season. We can afford to give away 19 season tickets. h) Picture in the boardroom? Why just one? The Dell, 1976, Matty vs Arsenal, The Fans of 03.

Markus Liebherr uber alles, Uber alles in der welt (and Portsmouth), Wenn es stets, fur Southampton und Trutze Bruderlich zusammenhalt...

The thing is he can't just walk away, he has to try and sell the club. To do that he's going to have to keep financing it until he finds a buyer or he could lose everything. The person he sells to will have money therefore they will be able to afford to continue spending what ML starts.

So we'd be 5th (ish). Ich liebe die Schweiz, Ich liebe Markus, Ich liebe das Rot und Weiss.

Will be an early announcement tomorrow IMO. Could drag on for a couple of days with the contracts if they took things at a 'normal' slow pace but I think everyone wants it over with so contracts will be pushed through late this evening for an announcement tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Wierd to think she used to sit in the same room I'm going to be in tomorrow at college.

If a player was that close to being in the squad 6th or 7th choice for the bench then they wouldn't be out on loan. They would also not be on the 5 man bench. They would be sat in the stands twiddling their thumbs p*ssed off they have no chance of playing a first team match that week. The 7 subs allows them to be in the squad, giving the manager more options so there is less need to play players out of position in the case of injury and more chance of players getting experience in the first team squad so they don't feel they are being left out in the cold.

Joseph Mills went to S****horpe on loan IIRC.

Good idea for the play but I'd stay away from the involvement of the football club. Assuming you're writing in a naturalistic style I'd use the death of someone close to the young lad or the break up of parents as a reason for his addiction. Is this degree or A level work?

Its going to be one hell of a comeback tour now... -
We break them down deapite the loss last year and the Americans come in right at the end and claim victory...

No chance of it working. Needs to be the club that appeal otherwise the FL will just dismiss it.

'The thing lots of fans would say is Wotte's Dutch...'

You obviously don't know much about tennis. They have a roof over the centre track at Wimbledon so rain wont affect play.

Done keepy up headers with Kevin Keegan, been awarded a trophy from Sir Geoff Hurst, been in the Echo loads, been on Sky Sports. I do believe I'm more famous than Jan Poortvliet.

That was Franny.

How reliable is your source. Don't want any names but have you received correct information before and how close is your source to the takeover group (I'm assuming it's someone close to MLT)?

Ferdinand, Robinson, Lennon.

IIRC Middlesborough and us were the only teams unbeaten at home about February/March that season. Strange to think SMS and The Riverside gave away teams a bit of a scare to travel there!
-
Only if they're completed. We'd then have to accept a fee for the deal to go through which could easily be stopped by the player saying they want to stay and the club would pull out.

What's right and what's wrong for breakfast?
ChrisPY replied to Master Bates's topic in The Muppet Show
Don't have breakfast. Stay in bed and have a double portion of everything at lunch.
