Huddersfield Peterborough MK Dons Bournemouth - Would be nice for them to have a season in the CCC and an easy 6 points. Swansea - Would prefer Forest to be in the Prem Cardiff - Think they'll lose a few of their best players if not promoted Reading - Local away day Forest West Ham - Good away day Wolves Wigan - Rugby town, no fans. Blackpool - Nice to see Holloway again... Birmingham Blackburn

Brighton Doing Us A Favour On Saturday Beating Huddersfield...!?!
ChrisPY replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
I think Brighton should not do us a favour and lose. I want to finish as close to them as possible as I think we will win all of our games left. -
Is this yeas league 1 weaker or stronger than last season..?

Read Sir Geoff's autobiography. England were winning 3-2 in the World Cup Final, Sir Bobby Charlton has the ball in his own penalty area. Sir Geoff hear's a shout from an Sir Bobby Moore - 'Just f*cking kick it'. Oh noes he swore.

Get in! The Saints are going up!

But i'd say the Posh squad has a pretty high value as well. Boyd and Mackail-Smith would be valued at about 3.5m between them
-
There's a difference between value and what we'd sell someone for. Why would we sell someone for their value only to have to replace them with a similar player for a similar value? ---------Value---Sell---------- Davis--£200k--£600k Bart---£100k--£350k Harding-£200k--£500k Dickson-£200k--£500k Fonte--£1m---£1.8m Jaidi----£0----£250k Seaborne-£200k-£600k Martin---£150k--£750k Butters--£150k--£400k Richardson-£150k-£500k Chamberlain-£3m--£10m Lallana---£3.5m---£6m Chaplow--£150k--£500k Hammond--£100k-£500k Morgan----£1.5m--£3.5m Barnard--£500k--£1m Lambert--£800k--£1.5m Guly-----£300k--£1m Total---£12.05m--£30.25m Obviously most teams wouldn't pay some of the sell value for players which means we won't sell them. That's the figure it would probably take to let them go.

Because they can p*ss RDM off by not spending money as keeping him happy doesn't matter. The new manager doesn't have the opportunity to be p*ssed off as he can't ask to spend money when the window's closed.

After February the table will look like this- Huddersfield P32 PTS61 Brighton P30 PTS60 Bournemouth P34 PTS60 Charlton P30 PTS54 Southampton P31 PTS53 Oldham P33 PTS52 Think we'll probably end the season in 3rd or 4th.
-
You can't say Seaborne was our weak link against Posh. Both centre backs struggled when facing our goal which seemed a lot of the time considering how high up the pitch they were playing letting long balls to be put over the top for Mackail-Smith to run on to. Good player IMO but NA had them playing too far up the pitch.
