Plenty before my time... That one against Liverpool. Moran at Fratton Park. A selection of Le Tiss goals. Bobby Stokes... One that sticks out in my mind was Fonte away at Brighton, the last minute winner. Brilliant celebrations.

Capital One Cup: Bristol City Ticket Details Announced
RedAndWhite91 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
£18, **** that... The club need a reality check! When I was a little kid, my West Ham supporting Dad used to take me to pre-season friendlies, cheap cup games, because they were cheap. That's what got me hooked and made me support Saints. Can see a lot of parents being put off from taking their kids to Saints games because of the extortionate pricing. -
Can see this being a boring draw in front of a subdued Sunday crowd if I'm perfectly honest.

Just finished the first series. Superb.

Lambert was superb. 2 quality assists and a goal, can't argue with that. Delighted for him, happy days.

****ing hell, one bad game and people really do start wetting the bed don't they.

Steve de Ridder has a pop at English football culture

I think that it's outrageous that the club clearly forces players to eat bacon and beans against their will. -
First thing I thought! Just had a look - @SouthamptonJosh doesn't exist anymore....

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 1-1 Sunderland
RedAndWhite91 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Just a few thoughts, Always difficult going down 1-0 early on, then having to face a team that is content with trying to defend that one goal lead at all costs. I remember thinking Sunderland seemed quite negative. Thought James Ward-Prowse was class, Callum Chambers also impressed again... Lallana was much better yesterday. Our academy has to be one of the best in the country. Great through ball by Lambert and great finish by Rodriguez for the offside goal. Lovren and Wanyama again looked solid. Please Fonte got the goal, loved his celebration - Scoring in the Premier League when you signed for the club in League One must be great. Ramirez looked good when he came on, and Osvaldo is certainly a bit of a character... Thought he looked very composed on the ball and reckon he has the potential to do well for Saints. -
It's all very specific isn't it. But I guess if it makes the most £££, then that's what clubs care about.

Can't help but think a) Why do we need an Asian Betting Partner? b) Why does this warrant an article on the OS?

"Gimme Shelter" - any chance for the next few games?
RedAndWhite91 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
"He scores when he wants" is definitely up there with the worst football chants ever to have existed. -
I can't see any of these songs catching on in the Northam. Stones and Beatles good suggestions. You all know we'll just adapt one of our current songs to fit his name in, and then clap ridiculously fast until it fades in to nothing.

Probably the most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90TUbQixtsA&sns=tw

"On 2nd March 2008, Osvaldo headed in a cross from teammate Papa Waigo to give Fiorentina a 3–2 win in stoppage time over fierce rivals Juventus." EDIT: Just seen this has already been mentioned, nevermind :-)

I once saw him watching a Winchester City game. He didn't sign for Winchester City.

Osvaldo, wooahh, Osvaldo, wooaahh, he shined in Italy, and Pirates of the Caribbean Three. I'm joking
-
I was under the impression that he had been somewhat frozen out of the Italy squad. Didn't realise he started midweek against Argentina.
-
Remember his goal in rainy Southend. We've come a bloody long way in such a short amount of time.
-
Very happy with him as a back up to Clyne, thought he was very good. Still young and learning too. We can be proud of our Academy.
-
Excellent.

Pretty much agree with everything OP says. Excellent day.

Been to Ibiza the past couple of summers, judging by what you see and hear out there, reckon these girls clearly knew what was going on. Jack is spot on in his post.
