I was!! We weren't very well off, always wanted a pair of those classic white Nike trainers everyone had but my parents couldn't afford them.. Incidentally my first pair of astro turfs were Umbro ones with the Man Utd badge on them, bought from a charity shop in Woolston! I got black shoe polish and went over the Man Utd badge before I wore them to school the next day!

Fair enough then, I'd buy clothes from charity shops if it was decent. If I saw a nice item (decent label of course) in there on the cheap I'd get it, no worries. Yeah went into Size in town and they had the Spezials I want, but I am a size 9 and they only had 8 and 10. Typical. Think they are an old-ish colourway so having trouble finding them elsewhere. Only place I can find them is the Adidas site, but that is a tenner more due to them being more dear and p + p. I know the forest hills are a classic pair of trainers but I am undecided on them. Some colourways and designs make them look awful. Yours sound alright though.

Turkish, there is such thing as a washing machine you know? Not a massive fan of those Italias to be honest. My next addition are a pair of black Spezials, then it will be blue Gazelles with yellow stripes next payday. Gotta love Adidas trainers but I'm surprised dune would get something with a badge; it's hardly discreet, there's 3 massive white stripes down them.
