Think you'll find it's Estuary English, not mockney, and this has spread across the South in the past 15 years or so. Seems to now be the standard South-Eastern England accent.
Been thinking of doing the same, since I'm not going to Uni. Don't know where I'd go or what I'd do though. This site is pretty decent I think, depending on what you want to do - http://www.workingabroad.com/
Good luck.
I rate Martin, he impressed me in his debut against Gillingham and against Southend, always thought it wouldn't be long before he was challenging Jaidi for a place. He is solid and tries to play the ball out of defence - better than hoofing it. He's young and still learning but obviously has talent.
I rate him, I like him, however, he had a very poor game on Saturday and so the criticism is justified. Only way fans will get behind him is if he plays well consistently, which is fair enough.
What a snobby post from that s0108787. All the casuals I know are in education or have jobs, fact. I'm not condoning football violence in any way, but I won't have people I know, and friends, stereotyped by some ignorant snob like that.
Trying to single out potential trouble makers isn't wrong, that's fair enough I guess, if you use intelligence and decent means.
I meant the whole way the police handled it was wrong. No one had done any wrong that afternoon, yet they still rolled out the cameraman-copper to film us as if we were all criminals.
