Did Davis not win Player of the Season? He's not called Super Kel for nothing you know! I proper hope we keep hold of him.

Rupey Lowetter, coming to a Guildhall near you!
RedAndWhite91 replied to Master Bates's topic in The Muppet Show
Hah very good. -
Hah that made me laugh more than the joke did!

Watch Sky Sports News, it has a repeated article about the stadiums that would be used and why. No mention of (as it stands now) Fratton Park... Did mention Liverpool's potential new ground though. Sod Fratton Park.

Here we go again...

The guy in that picture displayed a few posts above is thinking the exact same thing...

I'm finding it difficult to believe this is real! Why wouldn't the ref stop play, he is stood right next to her?? I reckon that is fake! Plus there is no mention on here - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2005/jul/06/theknowledge.sport "Law 10, The Method of Scoring, says that a goal can only be given if no infringement has been made by the team scoring the goal. A streaker would be an ineligible player; a team cannot field more than 11, so there would be no goal." Answer to your question, no If it is real though, it is a cracking strike!

I'd love it! I'd definitely have him as our manager, reckon he could do a job for us in League One.
-
I heard the FA/ FIFA were thinking of introducing this anyway? They done this in a 6-a-side tournament I played in once, it was the semi-final I think, and it ended up our keeper versus their keeper, it was absolutely ridiculous, and we lost. Devastating. It's not a great idea imo.

Ooooooh how times have changed... Still - I don't think the JPT final would be close to the FA Cup final but it would be ace if we got there (and won) Also, playoff final at Wembley perhaps? I'm certain St. Mary's will see the good old days again, one day.

Will what happened to us happen to that lot down the road?
RedAndWhite91 replied to PaulSaint's topic in The Saints
I reckon it will - They got more debt than us, and the only thing keeping them going is their Premiership status. If they were to go down then I reckon the same thing would happen, and I'd bloody love it. Let's see them take the p*ss when they are in the same situation; Let them enjoy their 5 minutes in the sun now, cos I do think in 12-24 months time they won't have much to shout about. -
If you hear anyone (I.E the Daily Echo or South Today) say "THINGS WILL HAPPEN WITHIN 24 HOURS" then take it with a pinch of salt, it has been said so many times over the past 3 weeks, just a little warning.

We should definitely try and keep hold of Perry (Keeping hold of Davis goes without saying) Perry is strong, solid, good in the air and experienced, something we are going to need next year. He seems to me to be like what a proper centre back should be... He'll be good for us next year.
-
We needed more Wottons, preferably better-than-Wottons, this year in the Championship, but I do agree, players like McGoldrick are going to get a bit of a shock IMO, let's hope they can man up a bit ready for the rough and tumble of League One.

Me and my mate were wondering whether this rivalry we seem to have is with Spurs is purely down to Glenn Hoddle moving there and then taking Dean Richards with him, or is there more to it than just that? I also imagine 'Arry has made the 'rivalry' worse... Anyone know if there is more to it?
-
Has he not been assessing all bids over the next 48 hours for the past 2 weeks?
-
Rip

I agree, give him a chance in League One, you never know, a bit of consistency might do us good!
-
I can't wait for next season either, totally agree with the opening post to the thread, I really feel like next season (despite the 10 point deduction) will be a good one to be a Saints fan. However. I'd rather see us playing Millwall next year as my mate is a Millwall fan. Come on Leeds...

Nobody gives a sh*t about them, it makes me confused as to why they receive a higher news rating over other more important topics!

Lowe makes an even bigger mammary gland of himself...
RedAndWhite91 replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
The bit where Lowe talks about Lawrie McMenemy and "his incorrect and biased thoughts" is rubbish... McMenemy is synonymous with Southampton Football Club, he can say what he likes. Perhaps the fact McMenemy has Southampton in his heart is why he is biased, for the club. Incorrect? No. Nobody's own thoughts are 'incorrect' Mr. Lowe, it's an opinion. And by the way the whole stadium roared when McMenemy came on the pitch to talk those couple of times at the end of the season shows how much people respect him and his so-called "incorrect and biased thoughts", nobody roared like that for Lowe. Jealous? -
Kelvin Davis is the closest thing we currently have to a hero, despite going down.

Watch South Today, they always seem to have a "Good news coming tomorrow" part of the programme...
