Alan Pardew got Reading promoted from this level. I'm sure he knows, in all his experience, how to buy players. How many more threads on this same thing will there be? Be patient, these things take time. I know it may only be less than a week to the start of the season, but Pardew has stated he hopes to bring in 4-5 new faces by the end of the transfer window, with 2-3 before the Millwall game. He knows what he is doing.

I quite like the slow version of OWTS, it is very atmospheric. And did you go to Sheffield Wednesday away last season? Very poor atmosphere I have to say, only about 1/5 of our fans made an effort to sing, and they were all clumped over to one side of the stand. I have never felt myself thinking "This is a shocking atmosphere" whilst stood in the Northam to be honest.

Oh, and that video, only about 3 people are singing, and the drummer and the matey holding the drum aren't even watching the match!! I go to the football to watch football! Not for me. No thanks. The people who bang on the plastic backing boards that surround the top of the stadium is fine, but drums in addition to that would get annoying in my opinion.

That is a 1/3 of the stadium capacity sold as Season Tickets, don't doubt our support.

In review also: Friday: Football, scored a goal, didn't go to pub cos my mates have no money and they need proper jobs. Saturday: Went to pub til closing even though I had work at 7am Sunday, it made me so tired, but was worth it. Sunday: Worked, came home, ate leftover curry, slept, then went to pub, ended up in local Indian restaurant eating Naan bread and having a laugh. Just got home. A good weekend overall I think.

Judging by the reception he got down at SMS last season I don't think he'd be a popular signing, but he would definitely be a good acquisition to the squad, if he wasn't now in Clough's plans.
