The Official "I'm going to Hartlepool on a Tuesday" thread
RedAndWhite91 replied to bungle's topic in The Saints
I've learnt my lesson about not planning stuff in advance and the 600-mile round-trip on a coach will be my punishment... -
Out of interest, what are you planning to email him?

I was overjoyed when I saw it was about £25 each way, but then horrified when I saw there was about £35 worth of taxes and fees each way. It would be about £50 each way in total so I guess we will be getting the coach!! -

Wish I was getting the sodding train, I could've stayed with a mate at Sunderland Uni... Had a quick look for tickets and the price ranges from £130 upwards to go up there on the Tuesday and come back on the Wednesday. Sod that. Coach it is -
Online now if anyone is up for a game. I don't quit if I'm losing.

Yeah was thinking that but it's a similar distance to Carlisle (?) and we took, what, 920 there? And that was a Saturday... I hope we take about 700, it would be an excellent effort. -

Bump. It's only 20 days away and I remembered this thread from ages ago. I am well looking forward to it, travelclub coach leaves at 11am and gets back at 5am the next morning apparently, that's going to be fun isn't it... How much would a train cost booked in not-so-advance? How many people do you reckon we'll bring for this one? 400 is my guess. -
Hahahahaha that's the worst stadium name ever.

Running the New York Marathon- any advice?

Fair play to you, utmost respect for doing that! -
I recently had to use a public phone box in London, and was shocked to see a card advertising a 'Spanking by a naughty nurse, any time'. No wonder my mother has been waiting for a hip operation for 18 months when these so-called healthcare professionals are willing to abandon their patients at the drop of a hat in order to attend to someone's sexual lustings.

Jade Goody got praised for raising awareness about cervical cancer even though she didn't have the jab and she eventually died from the disease. I accidentally left my gas cooker on the other day and it blew up, killing my wife and three kids. Did I get praised about raising awareness of the dangers of gas cookers? Did I ****. -Courtesy of Viz.

I went to Calshot spit today and was very happy to see my lovely hometown of Netley across the water. I then went back a bit and to my disgust saw Portsmouth across the water on the other side. It hit home actually how close we are to them.

My 94-year-old nana is always reminding people that she is a great, great, great grandmother. I for one would have expected a little more modesty from a woman of her generation. Ridiclulous Made Up Name, Viz website.

Ok I didn't get the one off eBay so still after one.

Yeeahh I want a Saints one but dunno what to get, or where to have it done. I quite like the old crest which bares resemblance to the original Southampton town crest that is on the side of the Ted Bates statue. It's cool but wouldn't know where to put it!!

I remember when I was about 8 years old going to one of those big play areas in a Portsmouth area and I wore my Saints shirt. There was a lad of the same age wearing a Pompey shirt and I spent half the time throwing them plastic balls at him. So immature and juvenile.

Yeah, and let them be high profile. I'd rather Markus' billions were kept under the radar personally. Let Notts County be high profile, and may they continue signing high profile players like Sol Campbell and Lee Hughes.

Well that makes Carlisle seem not too far away!

Hartlepool on a Tuesday night, can't wait!!!

Will probably go on the coach - Went to Carlisle on the coach and that was about 6 hours each way so Leeds won't seem too far compared to that!
