I was overjoyed when I saw it was about £25 each way, but then horrified when I saw there was about £35 worth of taxes and fees each way. It would be about £50 each way in total so I guess we will be getting the coach!!

Bump. It's only 20 days away and I remembered this thread from ages ago. I am well looking forward to it, travelclub coach leaves at 11am and gets back at 5am the next morning apparently, that's going to be fun isn't it... How much would a train cost booked in not-so-advance? How many people do you reckon we'll bring for this one? 400 is my guess.

I went to Calshot spit today and was very happy to see my lovely hometown of Netley across the water. I then went back a bit and to my disgust saw Portsmouth across the water on the other side. It hit home actually how close we are to them.
