Note to MP: Practice more corners in training.

This has probably been said somewhere in this topic, the tatters Saturday made a good point saying that our high pressing game works well, except when the opposing team break through. That makes our defence very vulnerable (that's all right when you have Puyol, Kompany, Vidic etc, but with Yoshida, Hooiveld and to a certain extent Fonte, that's a bad situation to be in) Other problem Saturday was their attacks over our left. I dont want to jump on the bandwagon, but Fox was dreadful the first half. Every time a attack went over the left Yoshida or Fonte would race over to cover as Fox was missing.
-
Good point made Pilchards. I was thinking that whilst watching the game Saturday, the QPR players just looked fitter and more alert. Shaw constantly picking up minor injuries could also be due to being overtrained, at his age he cant be worked to hard, that could make him injury prone in his later career (though I am sure the medical and fitness team know better then me).

We have been so poor defending and up front. Way to slow on the ball and totally ineffective, cant see us scoring another
-
Just when he started to play well.
-
Why didnt Fox stay with Remy instead of running away from him?
-
Think we need to change some things round, Puncheon for Davis and Lallana to play behind Lambert. Keep Rodriguez on the left as Newcastle have pace and like to play along the wings. COYR, lets spoil their French party.

Think its time for Cameron to end Georgie's work experience. He is clearly incapable to the job (as is the whole coalition, but that's another matter), and it shows that a history degree doesn't make a good chancellor. Ideal candidate for the job would have at least 20 years experience working in economics and preferably run a ''successful'' business. Someone like Branson or Sugar, but less high profile. Someone who has worked his or her way up the business ladder and understands how the economy works.

Just download Expat Shield, easy to install and run. Just remember to switch it of once you have finished using the Iplayer.

MP seems to rate Rickie too, http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-3-1-manchester-city-saints-1679402 Wonder if Rickie gets to keep the captains armband when Adam returns to the starting line up. Imo Rickie should keep it.

Can we expect to see Fonte, Ramirez and Shaw back for this game? A win would be massive and could see us go up to 11th, if results go our way. I would stick with pretty much the same team, only bring in Shaw for Fox if he is fit. How great would it be if Rickie scores his 100th Saints goal against Pardew. Still cant believe what I saw yesterday, we were just amazing. Wish I could have been there. COYR!

What a win!! The whole team gets MOTM from me. Special mention to Cork, Puncheon, Morgan, Yoshida en Lambert, is it possible to get Lambert of the ball when he has it at his feet? Cant wait to see what Hansen and Lineker have to say about the game. Richardson looks enormous on tv, his back looks the size of that of Arnold Schwarzenegger in his time.

Hope our defence is up to it today, gutted Shaw isn't playing. Still optimistic we can get a result today COYR!

Rickie Lambert: Manchester City goal "best feeling of my career"'
Dr. Kucho replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Great video, love the players reaction, the fans and the commentary. Hope Rickie scores his 100th Saints goal today, favourite player by a mile. Another great goal by the man, watch the reaction of the fans, players and the commentary. -
Went there when I was 12 in 1998, when Hill won in the Jordan. Have also been to Hockenheim and the Nurburgring, would suggest you go to one of those 2 instead of Spa. Spa is a great track, but the facilities at the other 2 tracks is much better, and price wise, you would get more value for money going to Hockenheim or the Ring. At Hockenheim the camping have decent facilities, and you are whatever camping you are at, its at walking distance from the track. Both German races have great parties going on during the weekend, with some amazing strippers the last time I was at Hockenheim.

How are Clyne, Shaw and Ramirez getting on? Have they been ruled out? And does anyone know how far of Fonte and Forren are of playing? If we have a fully fit team I can see us getting a result against City, however with a back 4 of Richardson (great crosses, but little pace) Yoshida (travelled to Japan this week) Hooiveld (great against Dzeko, but against Silva?) Fox (pace and positioning) I doubt it we would get a result. Anyway with a inform Davis and Rodriguez, Lallana back and Rickie to take out his anger of not being picked for England against City, we can expect some goals. COYR!

Reading seem to have found some form, and I think they will stay up. Can see QPR, Villa and Wigan going down. Wigan have been hanging on and narrowly surviving the drop for years, just like us in 2005, their luck will run out eventually. Wouldn't be surprised to see West Ham and Norwich getting dragged in.
-
There is no doubt Rickie is good enough to play for England. However Hodgson wants to start playing a new formation and Rickie has to fit in that new formation. If Rickie doesn't get a call up we know the new formation is one designed to score very few goals.

Wigan 2-2 SAINTS /// Post-Match Reactions
Dr. Kucho replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
2 points lost, gutted. -
99 goals for Rickie, 1 more son.

If Nigel was in charge for this game I would have predicted a draw or a close defeat. With MP I dont know what to expect from the team, and what's this shocking line up all about? Is this source often right about the team? Gutted I wont be able to see the first half tonight due to work. COYR! We can beat this s..t
-
This. Morale cant be high at Villa and with Everton and Arsenal away and City at home in their next 4 fixtures I cant see them picking up many points.
-
I have only been a fan for the last 10 years, so never saw the likes of Shilton, Keegan, Paine etc. The players I would like back are Oxlade-Chamberlain, Bale, Niemi and a fully fit Killer. This team would be amazing (though very attacking minded) ------------------- Niemi ----------------- Clyne ----- Killer ------ Fonte ------ Shaw ---------------- Schneiderlin ------------ Oxo --------------------------------Bale ------- Ramirez ----------- Lallana ------ --------------- Lambert ---------------

Where do you see yourself a year from today?
Dr. Kucho replied to 110_Persaint's topic in The Lounge
Fitness instructor and nutritional advisor (and in the process of setting up my own PT business). Thoroughly enjoy my job, and with the gym I work at growing, its a good place to be at the moment. However I lived most of my live in this area (the east of the Netherlands), and with most of my friends settling down with their partners, its time for a move. -
