Whilst watching the final off the Dutch FA cup, between Ajax and Willem II, I finally got to see Alexander Isak in action. He is on loan at Willem II from Dortmund and a striker with pace and good technical skill. One to look out for and maybe put an offer In for. Mind you, Ajax are also interested and they have been doing some good business already in signing talented players for next season.

Adams is English and therefore we have a good chance on making a healthy profit on him, if he scores the goals.

You would think as a pundit making some notes of players careers wouldn’t be a silly idea before commenting on a match they are playing in. And it’s not like Liverpool have just the one former Saints player on their books. Btw where was Lallana yesterday?

Would only have Walcott here if it was on a free transfer and a low basic wage with bonuses when he scores. I don’t know what to think of Walcott’s career, played some big games but never really made it. Won’t be surprised if he retires in his early thirties.

To everyone who is going on about Tadic’s great stats, remember he is playing in the Eredivisie. Yes he is a good player and we could do with him right now, but his stats are quite flattering as Ajax have the best squad in the league by a mile. Besides that the pace in the Eredivisie is much lower and players get way more time on the ball. He gets the time to control and play the ball with someone like Van Dijk crashing in to him the second the ball gets near him. I do hope Ajax win the league get to play Barcelona in the CL final. They have a great squad with some very talented players. We won’t do bad to go over there and have a look at how the club and scouting is run.

Wasn’t it someone from Ings inner circle that said he found the training here like a holiday camp? (When Hughes was still around). I think a full pre season under Ralph will give us a good indication how good some players actually are.

If this is his way to force a transfer, I am fine with that. I hope he gets his transfer and never sets foot in Hampshire again..

According to some Feyenoord fans I spoke to recently, Clasie has mostly been poor for them. They don’t see why the club would want to sign him. The only good thing is that Clasie and his family want to move back to Holland and he might want to have his contract terminated.

Body wise Van Dijk and Vestergaard have very little in common. Both are indeed tall, however Vestergaard is more what we call an ectomorph (low fat percentage, struggles to build muscle and generally skinny), whilst Van Dijk is leaning towards body type mesomorph (low/medium fat percentage and musculair). If Vestergaard and Van Dijk were both to do weights with the aim to build muscle, Van Dijk would become huge whilst Vestergaard would really struggle to put on more muscle. However if both were train for a marathon, I would put my money on Vestergaard. That said, Van Dijk is quite a freak when talking about athletics and injuries, the guy is hardly ever injured (except when Vardy stamped on him).

I can understand the club wanting Ralph to try and get something out of Boufal, Elyounoussie and Carrillo. We paid big money for them after all.

H It won’t be long before he overtakes Pochettino as our best manager in recent years imo.
