  1. Least you're in the first ballot Jack.. Think of the poor f**kers like me in the 2nd ballot. Wont know till the night before whether I'm even going I reckon!
  2. That's exactly the amount all in for ticket, travel and booking fee I believe
  3. Absolutely despise the Guly bashing. It's embarrassing. Super player, adds so much to the team and works so hard. I won't knock Lambert for his goals since being at Saints but if you had 2 forwards working as hard as Lambo you'd struggle. They are a great combo and we need to pray they both stay fit IMO.
  4. Pool 2-2 brum
  5. Link to it in the OS article. Everything you said. Plus details of window of time for sending etc
  6. I'm not a mong but I do feel like an idiot. Off to the post office later with my tail between my legs!
  7. That's me!! Cant believe I was so stupid to not apply. Need to keep everything crossed now for 2nd ballot but its making me think most st's that apply for the 2nd ballot will get in.. F-ing hope so anyhow.
  8. I wasnt questioning whether there were ppl who deserved a ticket more than myself, I'm sure there are. My point was more whether going about it the way I'm suggesting will allow me to potentially go or not,ie are people going to require identification etc etc..
  9. I actually found my best hope of going being through an application of a friend of a friend which has now been submitted. I guess noone knows what the protocol is for that situation. Tickets will be so scarce it wasn't worth my while applying when someone I knew was applying but not planning on going as they don't have to work every other saturday like myself so have been able to bolster their season ticket with numerous away games. Would seem a shame for there to be any barriers to me managing to go using their ticket through no lack of desire on my part.
  10. Sad c**t living in his dads shadow already scared of being a mediocre bitter twisted goony little manager who never gets a shot at the big time because of hang ups like this. It was a football match. When Nige loses thank god he does so with grace and dignity. Of all the great things Darren could have learned from his pa he has sadly taken only the bully/toys out the pram/why didnt i get my way attribute. What a shame. C**k!
  11. SWF in someone posts something of mild interest and gets shot down in flames without even making much of a comment on the subject shocker..
  12. Davis Richardson Fonte Jos Harding Guly Hammond Cork Lallana Lambert Connolly With De Ridder for Connolly or Guly in 2nd half when Watford have been softened up a bit. Need Hammond in from the start imo.
  13. Absolutely spot on. Anyone who doesn't think such things get muttered by a minority of this country at certain times is living under a happy clappy socialist rock. It's disgusting but a fact of life sadly.
  14. My housemate asked me about the pricing situation tonight and on hearing £14 I wasn't shocked or even disappointed. The cinema costs the best part of a tenner these days so IMO £14 for championship v league 1 isn't unreasonable. Would like the option of a season ticket with cup games included though. Back to the original post, yes the attendance will be low but I don't think it's so much for ticket price reasons as some seem to think. The main reason IMO is that the league cup has been devalued by weakening of top tier teams. This has happened over the past decade more than ever before and has occurred at a time when the rich are getting richer and the poor poorer in football very rapidly. The main problem lies in the reward for a win tonight being a trip to a 60% full emirates, for example, to play arsenals kids and still get turned over. This leaves fans feeling like stuffing the whole competition and sticking to paying to see the really competitive games. That said i'll be there. COYR!
  15. Spurs Derby Newcastle
  16. I thought mcgoldrick was an absolute waste of a sub for Forest today. Looked thoroughly clueless.
  17. Remember The Dell was rather small, I'm led to believe the clock there was actually a watch face.. On a serious note I have to agree. Would have loved the 'Southampton Football Club' wording from the Dell transferred to SMS.
  18. And then Cheryl Cole pulled my plonker.. And then Saints won the Champions League.. Then I won the lottery and bought a desert island in the Pacific ocean where Cheryl Cole again pulled my plonker before making me a cold refreshing cocktail. This is the land I would love to live in. It is the kind of world in which DB may join SFC. HTH.
  19. A Czech guy called Rudi...
  20. Would not get in the team and would expect wages above and beyond what is reasonable for a 2nd tier club, hence his contract termination
  21. saintmatt in funny post of the day shocker
  22. Seems a long shot
  23. Heard arsenal have a good young prospect in just the mould you just described.... The league cup can be exciting though on a serious note so fair play to him.....
  24. This. I'd have liked to have seen maybe Clarke from Huddersfield added over the summer as he's a super player imo. But the defence isn't a monster problem for me. I'm actually quietly confident about this squads chances this season. I must be mental.
