Norwich is further north than Aston Villa - HTH

I am embarrassed I opened this thread and read this far. Even more embarrassing that I have posted as well

Sorry, but that is incorrect. We would have been 2nd to bottom instead of bottom.

Players who impressed you in the lower leagues who haven't progressed.

Do you mean "their players"? -
Ramiez, time to settle or not good enough?

I would be staggered if it were possible to buy a genuine world-class 22 year old for £12m in today's market. -

Ramiez, time to settle or not good enough?
kpturner replied to southamptonfclegend's topic in The Saints
Did we sign Ramirez for his goal threat? What's the point in comparing his fee with that of Michu? Either you think Ramirez is an asset to the team or you don't - and how much he cost us does make any difference when you make that assessment. I take it you are of the opinion that we would be better without him? -
But then you are missing the point made several times here that it is not just the points but the sheer number of teams between us and them. It is highly unlikely that they will all be able to overhaul us even if we lose every games from now on - which is equally unlikely.

New Independent Saints website - writers required

Bearsy, if you are serious about writing - and it seems you are - you have to get your facts right! Any self-respecting DIYer knows you cannot block a cistern by filling up the bowl with soggy bog roll. The cistern is the bit that contains the water that is released into the bowl when you flush ffs! Sort it out man! -
Ramiez, time to settle or not good enough?
kpturner replied to southamptonfclegend's topic in The Saints
Obviously not 100% guaranteed to improve - but given his age and the regularity of his performances for a top drawer international team, the chances of him improving in the next few years are heavily weighted in his favour - IMHO -

Ramiez, time to settle or not good enough?
kpturner replied to southamptonfclegend's topic in The Saints
The OP asked if he was good enough. His price tag is completely irrelevant. We have him and that is that. Either he is an asset or he isn't, regardless of his price tag. We don't include players in the 1st team squad based on how much of a bargain they were. -
If you could get one play in now who would it be? Realistic options
kpturner replied to Ally Biggs's topic in The Saints
What is a realistic option? Unless we know the budget we can't speculate too much (everyone has their price). -

Time to stop bleating on about his price tag. I am glad he is a Saints player and would rather have him than not. How much he cost us is not relevant in that regard. His price tag only becomes relevant if it prevents us from spending elsewhere, and there is no direct evidence of that is there? -
Stoke going backwards though -oh! 0-1

What is Danny Graham's reaction to the third goal all about? Hands on hips glaring at Vaughan as if to say "wtf did you do that for?" Either he had a big bet on 0-2 or he thought it had missed

Now I know why I moved away from Horton Heath.

I think "brilliant" is overstating it a tad
